Mirzapur Trials

Every day plan some activity for a dry / mock run of planning for event.

Tasks

• Pi 0 - push button and record, listen and navigate
• Articulation, context building, Describing and adding effects to stories, training in capturing audio stories, Identity of your story, Branding?
• Categorizing of the content that is planned to be generated / created
• Checking on power conditions, and also if DA / Medha have a UPS
• Test Nextcloud as a long term, may be not push it as this March 18 trials

• UI / UX upgrades to Browse by tags
  • select and de-select tags, ui will have a highlighted background for select with a close icon for deselect.
  • UX upgrades should allow tag filter queries like, tag1 & tag2 & tag3
  • research on tag filters for OR query will be added to pipeline
• Channels selection should have a user feedback, so that user always know where she is while browsing.
• Branding Fonts and typography needs to be checked
• Admin Interfaces for,
  • Add new audios / recordings - could be a script that could update the data.json
  • Add new Channels - Create a new channel

Backend

sqlite 3 sync databases / create a queue data for transformations in the DB, and clear queue when connected to network.

NCBS Stories

Prasoon will come March 7th - 8 th - plan more discusiions around that time.

Technical side - The architecture discussions are done, we need to draft a architecture documentation and Data modelling for the documented user stories.

Documentation - Need to look at organizing all converations and decisions

User Feedback

Discussion on 2nd march was that the Shrishti students feedback about story making steps was not easy. However, my 2 cents is me than story making itself, it's the setup of environment which involves installing a local web server for preview.
Keeping that in mind Dinesh suggested if we can let users to edit the files directly on the server without having to setup local env. Might be possible with FTP uploads.

A short term release planning, for configuring and editing Maaya stories online

But another request was for Drag and Drop feature to make stories. Which without much hindsight was agreed upon, but after some digging seemed impossible without a backend server component for Data persistence. Seems a long run for the March 18th deadline, and will need much more planning.

So, then what could be a shortest possible UI / UX upgrade?
