How to Post Reflections and Assignments on the Discussion Board

## Course Portal

1. Open [Course Portal](https://courses.codepath.org/courses).
2. Toggle Courses tab to check How to Teach at CodePath.

3. If you are a participant to more than 1 cohort, toggle Cohort tab and select specific cohort to view modules.

4. Select the specific Unit that you want to work on and click on the Assignment tab for the assignment of that unit.

5. Click on the How to Teach at CodePath Guide and make a Copy of that Guide. *This is important since you will be submitting this copy with your answers to the reflections and assignments on Unit 8. The reflection questions can also be found in this guide.*

6. Click on [discussion system](https://discussions.codepath.com/courses/how_to_teach_at_cp/questions) link to submit answers to reflections and assignments. *You will be redirected to the discussion system page*.

7. On the discussion system, toggle Course to How to Teach at CodePath and Cohort to specific cohort (if multi-cohort)

8. Click on the Assignment tab and you can see the prepopulated reflections and assignments thread for your assigned units.

9. You can add your answers to the reflections and assignments for each unit, click on `Preview` to check if your response is correctly formatted, and click on `Post Your Reply` to complete your submission for that Unit.

10. You can review if your response is recorded by refreshing the Assignment tab. If successful, the count for the replies should be updated and your response should be seen once you open a specific note.
