# Task Tracker Guide (For-credit)

A task tracker is a sheet that the CodePath team will use to track tasks that were completed by the Tech Fellows each week.

## I. Instructions

* **Each Tech Fellow** should mark the Task Tracker as **Complete** if the task has been completed.
* If the task was **not completed**, mark it as **Not Done and add a note on the task the reason why it was not completed**. This will serve as a reference whenever your tasks for the week are reviewed.
* If the task is **not applicable**, mark it as **Not Applicable and add a note on the task the reason why it is not applicable**. This will serve as a reference whenever your tasks for the week are reviewed.
* Completion of the Task Tracker should be done in groups. That means that the Tech Fellows can only mark the task as complete if each of the team members has completed the task.
* Make sure to complete the tasks before the due date to avoid follow ups from your Guru or your assigned course lead.

## II. Parts of the Task Tracker

1. Tech Fellow Details
* This section contains the tech fellow names for the specific universities with their assigned guru.
* You can filter your name/university from this section so you can update your tasks.

2. Task List
* This section contains the list of tasks that need to be done, ideally in group, by Tech Fellows.

3. Task Due Date
* This section contains the due date for each task.

4. Task Status
* This section is the main working area of Tech Fellows. This is where you update the status of your task.
* Completed - if the task is done
* Not done - if the task is not done or you haven't participated with the task
* Not applicable - if the task is not applicable for you (i.e. pre-work for returning TFs) or for your site.

## III. Our Gurus
Each university is assigned to a CodePath Guru to assist Tech Fellows.

* Gurus will schedule weekly syncs with the Tech Fellows making sure that you are on top of your weekly tasks.
* Gurus will help unblock Tech Fellows in completing their assignments and labs during TF Training.
