**Ended at 9:40pm**
## Points Covered
### George Kuznetsov Section
- **Two new MCD Units.**
- Units:
- Homicide
- Gang Intelligence
- 6-8 more people to join MCD to help flesh out these departments.
- Think about what direction you want for your characters.
- Not exclusive to the unit, but for the other take the incident report and pass it along.
- **Apologizing to the six new Probationary Detectives since George hasn't released their document yet.**
- Document hopefully out at the end of the week.
- Current Probationary Detectives won't do the whole thing due to the delay.
- Command will talk to the Probationary Detectives later about this process.
- **Interceptor, Moto, and Air 1 Cert.**
- Air 1 is a good ~~soup~~ cert.
- Good to get intel photos of areas.
- Good to get to elevated positions.
- Don't use to air hunt for grow-ops.
- But you can take them there if you are informed of one.
- This isn't a primary investigative tool for drug grows.
- No Moto or Interceptor for MCD.
- Existing certs will be lost.
- We have our own extra things, and shouldn't be double dipping into what patrol does.
- This will help with interdepartmental animosity towards
- **MCD's role.**
- Know what is a MCD thing so we have a common response on what we take when offered.
- This will stop people from thinking some are assholes.
- We focus on Homicide, Organized Crime, and Major Crime.
- Homicide
- Moiderers
- Organized Crime
- Self explanitory.
- Major Crime
- High Profile Crimes
- Like plots to kill political figures.
- If it's in the mandates you can take it.
- When people ask you to do paper work for them or things like store robberies, we need to nicely say no and let them take control of their situations.
- "That's not something we focus on but if you have some questions let me know." Or something like that.
- Assume everyone has no idea what MCD does and politely inform.
- Tell them what we are busy on.
- **Police wide annoucements.**
- Letting the other departments know about our case load and amount of detectives without giving away sensitive information.
- Try to let people understand the workload and help them be more understanding.
- **When you are Off-Duty on your character, do not feel pressured to get On-Duty!**
- You are allowed your off time.
- You are not a mechanic.
- You are allowed to RP your character.
- If you are On-Duty there are expectations of response, not when you aren't.
- Feel free to take your time and get your RP from scenes.
- We don't need to make every call/scene.
- We don't need to rush call to call.
- If you have a hard time saying no, don't even take your phone, then nobody can answer it.
- **MCD Vests are now live!**
- **BCSO Casual Fridays do not apply to MCD.**
- MCD Command will talk about it but we don't have access to it.
- TYE WANTS FORMAL FRIDAY
### Sally Jenkins Section
- **Interdepartmental Issues.**
- If you experience anything toxic (other than friendly banter), report the conflict to a DS+.
- Forum emails and asking to meet if you want.
- Supervisors can do mediated discussions
- If there's an OOC toxicity issue, open a ticket with staff.
- Please report it!
- **Riding with uniformed officers.**
- We have a job/duty and we need to handle those with priority.
- Some of this cannot happen with a Duty Officer.
- For example, a stakeout would take another uniformed officer off the street for hours.
- Do this sparsely/sparingly.
- Put on your uni and use a marked unit if patrol needs the help and there's no MCD priority to do.
- **Paperwork, notes, and communication.**
- Put notes in the MDT for those you want to watch and not serve immediately.
- Don't link case files or incident reports to the MDT.
- The basics of the arrests should be in the arrest report.
- Note they are held until trial or whatnot.
- Note they are an MCD Person of Interest.
- If you are leaving a scene uniformed officers were on first, make sure someone is taking down the incident report.
- Make sure someone is taking an incident report on it.
- Update the forum database with info and MOs from active cases.
- **Undercover Code 2 and `/undercover`.**
- If you are meeting in civ clothes and without others coming it's UC 2.
- Let a supervisor know before you go.
- Let other MCD know you are meeting with someone in case you go missing.
- You still count as an officer, so choose a good time.
- If it's dire, let them know.
- **Investigation Thoroughness.**
- Don't destroy the first things you see.
- We want to chop heads from snakes.
- Stake out grow ops, don't just spot and burn.
- If you have the time, get all the info.
- **Fun special days.**
- We've had hat days, MC days, etc.
- They have to match UC 1.
- Bring your ideas up!
- **If you are sent incident reports from officers.**
- Acknowledge they sent it and you got it.
- If it's the wrong format, let them know and copy paste fix theirs.
- Educate!
- Toss them in the channel.
### Joanna Poole Section
- **If you make a new case file, put it in #case-file-assignments.**
- **Tag Joanna Poole when a case closes or goes cold so she can get it listed.**
- **Poole will be going through the current cases.**
- **If you want to take the bar, look into it.**
- You can go to Joanna Poole or George Kuznetsov and ask about it.
- You can also chat with the prosecutor to lean this by asking questions about your cases.
### Lane Maximus Section
- **Keep up the good work and take breaks to not burn out!**
### Back to the George
- **If the DOJ won't take a case...**
- Talk to George Kuznetsov or Joanna Poole and they can prosecute it themselves if needed.
- **If you are having issues with other government officals or departments.**
- LEO Command has direct communication with the others.
- Bring it up to MCD Command if you are having issues.
- They will bring it up with the other agency.
- **Issues with serial killers, OOC/IC Issues, and Burnout.**
- If you aren't enjoying things, reach out to George Kuznetsov and Sally Jenkins.
- They can mediate as "MCD" if needed.
- They do message Serial Killers about pacing, so feel free to report if needed.
- You should be having fun, not be forced into stuff 24/7.
- **Discussion on the Henious Crimes and how to handle them outside of the Criminal Code.**
- ![Clarification](https://i.imgur.com/2KvAKYh.png)
- Feel free to reach out to them OOC to ask if they'll take a longer sentance and if it's an issue, ask staff!
- You can put them away and wait on staff for the full punishment if needed.
- **Look how far we've all come!**
- It's amazing to see the autonomy of the department live as it all works.
- You guys do awesome work.
- The new additions are great and putting in the work.
- We have barely any drama here and people seem to talk to eachother.
- **Thank you all for being awesome!**
- **If you have thinks to discuss, feel free to bring them up.**
- You can message command in private as well if you have opinions on direction.
## Open Floor
- **Blake Taylor: Can Detectives be allowed to remove notes from the MDT?**
- Tye: Nope, not how it's coded. Snrs are all the same rank, so it's Super+.
- You can contact DS+ and they can delete it.
- If it's really messed up you can make a ticket and @Tye or PM Tye.
- **Joey Solace: Why include the other agencies like Med at scenes if it will always be fricton?**
- Keep trying when you can and feel free to push back in RP if needed without being an asshole.
- Sally: Be the bigger person and kill them with kindness.
- Sally and George will talk to the government about how big events outside of our pay-grade should be handled.
