- Process/Certs/Course is good to go.

- Feels good about certs currently, thinks they should go in.
- **Jessica Ortega:** Times are set now and laps are now 3 not 5.
- Totallying a vehicle is a DQ, taps aren't and are up to trainer discretion.
- That way hitting a local in a tap won't end it.
- Likes the courses, fair, 3 chances to meet the time with the laps on each track.
- Total cert is ~30min.
- Hills do handling and breaking.
- Oilfields do turns and maneuvering.
- **Mitch Wheatkings:** Is this live or LEO Training Server?
- **Jessica Ortega:** There's low risk to civilians, so it should be fine to do live.
- Live means all-calls can be responded to.
- **Conclusion:** Process/Certs/Course is good to go.
- **Chris Solace: Who can get the interceptor cert?**
- Can FTOs get this cert?
- **Jessica Ortega:** Recommendation is required SGT+ and the training has to sign off on it.
- Add to the SOP they cannot ask for a recommendation.
- **Sally Jenkins:** Would like to see SGTs with cert and trainers with it first, to see how it turns out, then open it up depending on the results.
- **Mitch Wheatkings:** Ezra should have to get permission to take someone out.
- **Chris Solace & Jessica Ortega:** Ezra has improved, so it shouldn't be an issue.
- Recommendations are SGT+, so this should be fine.
- 14 Day Grace Period to recert for existing Interceptor Certs.
- **Chris Solace: Will we take disciplinary actions into account for the interceptor cert.**
- Yes.
- **Chris Solace: Duncan Murray has asked about his cert revocation appeal.**
- His appeal didn't take any responsibility so nothing.
- **Jessica Ortega:** He wants the cert to become a trainer again.
- He can be told we are good/set on trainers for now.
- **Conclusion:** He has a week left, he can recert after that if recommended.
- **Thad Furtaw: Flight Authority (SAFA) taking over the Air One cert.**
- It's better than our current cert and will stop complaints about bad PD.
- **George Kuznetsov:** They may power trip on this in the future.
- **Many:** Don't hand over control of certs to outside organizations, some in are crims.
- **Conclusion:** No.
- **Sally Jenkins: Stealing of PD vehicles.**
- It's getting harder, what can we do as a backup plan if that doesn't help?
- Shooting tires makes it a shootout.
- **Scoot McNairy & Thad Furtaw:** Shooting tires is using deadly force. So incoming bad shoot lawsuits.
- **Chris Solace:** Many are stolen out of sight, so hopefully the dev fixes happen.
- **Jessica Ortega:** Lockpicking moves to WAY MORE PINS with the changes.
- **Chris Solace:** People need to report missing cars.
- **Tye Flitwick:** Plates can be flagged if this continues to be an issue.
- **Mike Hamer: Talking about not negotiating down on warrants, but there's an IA already.**
- This IA was from before the annoucement, should this IA be thrown out?
- Someone should just talk to him at this point.
- **Chris Solace: Endorsing James Paxton and Josh Ford.**
- **Jay Parker:** Police should be separate.
- **George Kuznetsov:** Sheriff and Chief should be able to as individuals of note, but not on behalf of the department.
- **Conclusion:** This is a personal thing and the Sheriff and Chief can endorse as their position, but not on the behalf of the departments directly.
- **Chris Solace: MCD has been doing great with improving officers and bringing people in and handling discipline uniquely.**

- **Chris Solace:** Wants this still, but wants to still wait a week or two.
- **Jay Parker:** Not appropriate berating over tac.
- **Sally Jenkins:** She was explaining why she was upset based on the video.
- She was asked to go on that Tac.
- Not fair to judge her career over one traffic stop.
- **Jay Parker:** This is all I've seen, I want to see more.
- **Mitch Wheatkings:** Had some apprehension.
- **Dante Jenkins:** Yelled for people to leave MRPD, so her conduct isn't great over radio.
- **Mike Hamer:** OOC and IC her reaction wasn't great, so he wouldn't be for it now.
- **Chris Solace:** Command who have issues should try to ride with her to get a feel for how she actually acts to get further perspective.
- **George Kuznetsov:** All solid in every situation he's had with her, raving reviews. She's solid.
- **Jay Parker:** Solid doesn't mean command, leadership skills are what are required.
- **George Kuznetsov:** Has experience with her taking good charge of situations.
- Why would the Ballas do this
- **Thad Furtaw:** IA around Lana Harte.
- 1st on Jay Parker: should have asked about it, not just submitted an IA.
- **Jay Parker:** Believes someone told her to put in the IA.
- 2nd on Lana Harte: Command should just handle it directly not via an IA.
- **Conclusions:** Ride with her if you want more perspective and this can be rediscussed at the next meeting.
