## Intro (Lead by Francis "Frank" Devine)

- We have grown a lot in the last few weeks and we thank you all for being along for the ride with us.
- A brief description of what the different staff roles do.

## Main Body (William Hayes)

- **Finance Check:**
- We don't currently spend more than we are taking in, but all money will be used to improve services or for projects for the server.
- We are very happy that people are willing to donate out of just the goodness of their hearts and a love for the community.
- We don't have plans to offer donations for priority queue in the server or anything along those lines.
- Roles on the discord and forums are the only rewards we offer.
- **Wipe Annoucement**: Wednesday, April 29th, 2020
- We will be providing a more direct time further along.
- The economy will be changed and you will have a more balanced economy to work with.
- Jobs will be better balanced.
- More information will be in a forum post.
- Our focus will still be on roleplay, so you won't need to grind money 24/7 just to survive.
- Story and lore will not be wiped, just possessions and characters.
- You can recreate whatever characters you want and carry on with those stories.
- **Reports of people not valuing their lives.**
- Things like "practice dueling" aren't something that should exist here.
- Duels are serious and you often should end up in a coma for a while or seriously injured.
- Feel free to report things that you feel are breaking the rules like this.
- There was a suggestion for forced perms for dueling, but it's too difficult to prove everything was fair.
- We don't want to have people arguing over things that are fair or not and that being reasons to unperm a character.
- If you see people dueling over nothing constantly, feel free to report it.
- Jumping off rooftops, cliffs, waterfalls and similar are Fail RP unless there are some other story related reasons for doing so.
- **If you see infractions, they should be reported**. If it isn't reported, it won't be fixed.
- We want people to learn and grow from Player Reports, not just get banned.
- We don't want to put in niche rules for everything, roleplay should come first.
- Killing locals for no reason should be reserved to Red Dead Online.
- **Rules around Doctor's Office and New Life Rules.**
- A new forum post will be coming in the future to better explain this
- The intent is to allow people who are brought to the doctors to remember what happened to them.
- Bringing people to doctors to continue RP after shooting someone will still not be allowed.
- **Shooting compliant people so they don't remember** is power-gaming or meta-gaming as that decision is based on the rules.
- This is another thing that reports are great for.
- **Eating and Drinking during combat to get cores up is Fail RP.**
- Scarfing down a loaf of bread mid combat can get you banned.
- **Intentional "Double-Tapping" people is Fail RP or Power-Gaming.**
- Blowing people's heads off after a fight is Fail RP/Power-Gaming as you can't force a perma on another character.
- Don't RP the injury of your head being blown off unless you want to perm that character.

- **Character Perms**
- You can absolutely permanently kill your character through a gunfight or whatever way you want to end your character's story.
- Nobody else will be allowed to force you to permanently kill your character.
- **Whitelist Closure**
- We are revamping the whitelist system to be more comprehensive than before and provide better information for our Moderators to use to make decisions.
- Friday the 24th of April we will put up a post with details such as when Whitelists will reopen.
- **Staff Applications are open!**
- Apply on the forums.
- We won't be giving exceptions to the requirements.
- There are Moderator slots and Community Ambassador slots open for applications.
- **Recent Promotions.**
- Frank Devine (CA Lead) and Ty Byrne (Head Developer) were promoted to managers.
- We now have 5 managers.
- Gina is now an Admin.
- Jay Tully, Bocephus Dredge and ??? have become Moderators.
- Cain McKenna, Dorthea "Dot" Appleby and Domino Douglas have become CAs.

## Admin / Mod Team chat
- **Emmett Stone**
- Make sure to put in reports.
- If you see an issue and don't want to put in a report, feel free to PM someone and let them know. Sometimes you can work it out amicably with the person.

- **Please leave answers to staff in general channels** and just direct them to #support or #faqs in the discord if they need help!
- If you want to help out, you can always apply to be staff!

## Development Team / Features Coming in the Wipe (Ty Bryne and William Hayes)
- **New Character Creator!** (Coming in the wipe)
- Fine tuned character creation.
- Height, Bone struture, and sliders galore!
- Eyebrow types, Makeup and other overlays will not be there on release, but will come in the future.

- **Things will be moved around.** (Coming in the wipe)
- Don't ask OOC where things are. Find them out in character.
- **Development Logs will be given with changes on the forums.**
- They won't mention locations of where things were moved though.

## Community Advisor Team (Frank Devine)
- **They are the public face of the staff to the community.**
- They handle suggestions, and support tickets mainly as well as helping out ingame and being good examples of roleplay in the server.
- **Don't be afraid to put in support tickets on the discord.**

## Government (Frank Devine)
- **Frank Devine was re-elected.**
- Thanks to everyone for voting.
- **We are looking into State Government Systems in the future.**
- But with 32-player limits, it's hard to justify Municpal Goverment systems.
- We may have State Representatives and elections in the future.
- This will be announced in the future and is still under development.
- **Bounty Hunting Systems will be announced with the Wipe**
- Law enforcement will handle bounties and licensing.
- **Adjustment to Punishments.**
- We had a community poll and the vast majority wanted harsher punishments.
- **Town Ordinances**
- There are some coming ones such as requiring you to take care of your horse and whatnot.
- They should be coming before the wipe (in the next week) and will be posted on the forums and announced.
- These will add more flavour to the towns.
- **Judicary Being Expanded.**
- Appointing two more judges to a total of 5 judges.
- Chief Judge James Tully will be working on this and testing them.
- Applications will be announced later.
- **Deeds are held until after the economy wipe.**

## Marshals, Sherrifs and Law Enforcement (Emmett Stone)
- **State Marshal is now a political role.**

- **We've heard complaints of few LEO online and this is being resolved.**
- There have been many recruits running around recently.
- We have a in-depth process for hiring and training LEO, so this does take time.
- **Bounty Hunters.**
- These will be heavily vetted. Not everyone will be a Bounty Hunter.
- **Gattington is the East Sherrif, Major is the West Sherrif**
- **Fines will be expunged during the Wipe.**
- Criminal Records will still stay!
- After the wipe, fines will be enforced more heavily with new procedures for the new Economy.

## Judiciary (Chief Justice James Tully)
- **There have been a few cases processed so far.**
- **The Civil Court has been opened.**
- It was rolled out a bit early to match ongoing stories and situations in the community.
- It handles:
- Divorces
- Business Licenses
- Property Licenses (When they eventually launch)
- General Disputes
- **Anyone can become a Lawyer.**

- **Two slots are open for Judges.**
- We are looking for at least one Night-time judge.

## General Mentions (William Hayes)
- **You should not be in another Player's Stream while in the server!**
- If you are in the queue, that's fine, but close it when you get in.
- This is Meta-Gaming!
- Stream-Sniping is obviously going to get you banned as well.
- **Please don't Tag/Mention/PM Staff.**
- If you are asked to, feel free to, but otherwise please try not to.
- Use #support as much as possible.
- Unless there is some emergency or crazy privacy issue.
- **Onesync isn't possible currently.** (More than 32 slots)
- There are no annoucements around RedM and Onesync nor a timeline.
- We have been bringing a lot of attention to RedM and that will help push CFX to do more work for RedM.
- **On Restarts, check #talk-about-instancing in Discord.**
- We have gotten instancing issues down to sub 20 minutes per restart.
- Our shortest time to restart has been 12 minutes thanks to the staff and the help of the community in #talk-about-instancing in the Discord.

## Q/A
- **We will go through the biggest questions**, but we will answer many of the submitted ones in a forum topic later.
- We have over 70 questions submitted!
- **You don't need Board Licensing to be a Doctor.**
- You may be seen as less credible without one though!
- **Any subscription model?**
- No.
- **What about players playing teenagers?**
- Keep it above 16 and don't be a creep.
- RP with teenage characters should be appropriate.
- **Player reports are slow, are you fixing it?**
- Management has been helping push this forward.
- They take usually around 4 days if the person doesn't respond in 3 days.
- We have hired onto another Moderator.
- We may cut down the response period for the reported users
- **Should players be grinding and doing mechanics jobs by themselves?**
- We prefer people to bring people and Roleplay while they do jobs.
- Just grinding for hours is frowned upon.
- **Will we consider having a server for only content creators or the best players?**
- No, we want everyone to have the fair shot.
- We don't have server specific whitelisting and have no plans on it.
- **Can you coordinate death of characters to Permanently Kill them off?**
- We have obituaries for player deaths with your story and pictures.

- For Criminal Court, they will reach out OOC and offer a Life or Death sentence with the option to perm your character.
- This is after the verdict is reached. We don't force perma characters here.
- **The economy wipe will include an Inventory Wipe**.
