  • "Nailed smart, confident and friendly. Especially with the glasses."
  • "Did not capture the ‘Puppy-dimensions.’ mentioned by @Static121#7698 but the large head and somewhat fit body works. The glasses add extra size to the eyes."
  • "Gives an impression of young and eager rather than old and wise. That represents the Coop well. Only concern is how it would be recieved by institutional investors."
  • "The structure of the body should work well for gestures and objects. Assume it would be harder to accomplish this with a big fat bird."
  • "Feels like a character I would enjoy investing with. Something I would like to see when logging in to manage my portfolio."
  • "Seems like a friendly guide to help navigate DeFi and someone you would enjoy seeing on social channels."
  • "Deviates significantly from the owl emoji 🦉. Would be nice if they were close enough to be interchangeable and recognizable as the same character. But this is okay. It will just require some effort for Cooper to stand as a character on his own."
  • "We may consider another old, fat and wise character later to be Cooper's partner in crime. But I do not have any reservations with moving forward with this version."

@mestigoit#0158

  • "totally like would I see here, this is a simple but clear."
  • "like the idea of the glasses and the polo shirt"
  • "I am more in favorite for one with the more bigger eyes."
  • "The focus should be on the community / helping / learning side and less big business."
  • "I really like the work salesforce as done around Astro and is family."
  • "try some movements and gestures, to see if they work well ( flying over a headline, pointing at a headline, looking from the side into the frame.. such thingslike we already do with our social media images with the real/natural owl)"

@Dev.#2739

  • "I think if the finished version is not to cutesy in terms of colours, shine, design details, this fulfills all the requirements and will also work well for institutional investors. 100! This is scaffolding now but the polish and finish should continue to reflect the direction so far."
  • "I think I like the smaller eyes here with glasses, though I think square/rectangle frames might not work. Wings work well for many things - including making gestures."

Questions

  • Would you trust this owl with your coins? @earth2travis#8570
  • Is it too playful for the fat cats? Is that okay? @earth2travis#8570
  • Do we think adding some biceps - Clarke Kent style! - would add value? @Dev.#2739

  • Interactive
  • Functional wings to interact with objects and make gestures
  • "generally we are looking to communicate community, curiosity, fun - so the avatar should not necessarily be cute, but should not be scary/predatory and big eyes will help" @gekonn#3433
  • "Don’t has to be cute. True, but friendly and welcoming. This means age should not be relevant as same as sex." @mestigoit#0158

Feedback

  • "I think I like right hand side middle Owl best as the inspiration here" @Dev.#2739
  • "I'll +1 Dev's thought about the mid-right reference." @Static121#7698
  • "I lean towards the top middle with brown. I think the brown color is part of the reason the current emoji-icon is working so well." @gekonn#3433

Feedback

  • "At the moment the top sketch kinda puts me in a tootsi-pop place. (do you know the tootsi-pop owl??)" @Static121#7698
  • "I think big and round is gonna be our friend here. 'Puppy-dimensions.'" @Static121#7698
  • "People are programmed to think things with disproportionately big head / eyes and round features are cute. Right now i'm seeing a ton of that in the mood-board but not as much in the sketches." @Static121#7698
