# Executive Summary
### [Chones](https://chones.eth.limo/)
#### Meta Community Facilitation and Integrative Communications for the Ethereum Ecosystem
There are so many ingenuities, solving complex problems affecting humanity, throughout the Ethereum ecosystem, although many of these go unnoticed.
Some of the larger organizations might have communications and community teams, although their efforts can be siloed towards facilitating the conveyance of messages from a single, or small handful, of organizations and individuals. This means that partnerships in communications and community are missed.
For example, a team of developers may have launched a solution to a problem that DAOs face, although the only DAOs that know of this solution are the ones that the developers are members of. And sometimes even the DAOs that the developers are members of don’t even know about this solution, because communication can feel uncomfortable for developers, as they attempt to avoid “shilling.”
Chones solves for these missed opportunities by looking out for them and then facilitating the coordinations for mutually beneficial collaborations.
Chones is active in many curated channels throughout the Ethereum ecosystem. We are curating a CRM and use this information to strategize collaborations that are mutually beneficial across organizations.
We scribe at DAO townhall meetings, write newsletters for open source projects, coordinate events and much more.
We meet weekly to compare notes from our separate travels, because we split up our attention, instead of duplicating efforts. At these meetings we look for ways that organizations can collaborate in mutually beneficial ways.
An example is when Chones contributed to the Gitcoin Radio, a 24 hour and 11 day Twitter Spaces marathon, put on by Solar Punk Guild, with the intention of highlighting grant proposals in the Gitcoin Beta Quadratic Funding round. Chones arranged for a host, during the 22 hr, who would benefit, and be of benefit, from the opportunity (Bootleggers, a custom DAO governance design and app development service out of DAOhaus.) Chones then curated 2 speakers for each of the 11 days. Speakers included Joshua Tan, Jessica Zartler, Angela of TE Academy, Florian Glatz, Kyle of LexDAO, Elco of the DAOist, Songyi of SeoulBound and Mangaroa Farms, and many more. At each Twitter Spaces, guests were given the opportunity to communicate the importance of their project, while discussing issues around the challenges they are solving for. The visibility on their grants was also multiplied by sharing networks with the host, the other speaker, Solar Punk Guild and Gitcoin. After only just meeting, some speakers even continued conversations on how they could collaborate in the future.
Chones gives attention to many curated channels. Many of these channels are by invitation only, which means we’ve earned trust and intend to continue to remain trustworthy. With these many avenues for communication, only a highly focused team, like Chones, could keep up with them all.
If we are successful, then members of the Chones commons will have seen growth in quality engagement. This doesn’t necessarily mean that their number of followers or website visitors will increase. Instead we will see more frequent quality collaborations that benefit the mission of the individual or the organization.
An example would be that instead of Token Engineering Academy increasing the number of members in the Discord server, they would have more course completions and more individuals, coming out of the courses, contributing to other projects’ incentive design.
Chones is run like a commons. Everyone in the Ethereum ecosystem is welcome. All we need is signaling that you want to join. If you can contribute capital support, we welcome that, but it’s not necessary, because everyone has high times and hard times. This allows us to bring visibility and engagement to a wider variety of meaningful efforts.
