--- title: Active SciBeh projects --- Here you will see SciBeh's current projects. If you would like to get involved with any of these, please contact the lead SciBeh team member listed, or email contact@scibeh.org and we will put you in touch with the right person. If you have an idea for a project that would benefit from collaboration, [do get in touch](mailto:contact@scibeh.org)! We are happy to help you lead a collective intelligence project with us. ### SciBeh Knowledge Base **What's this project about?** *Here a description of what the knowledge base project is currently doing* **What can I get involved in?** We welcome volunteers interested in: Add here **Contact** *who is leading?* to join this project! **Current team members:** Ezequiel Lopez-Lopez, X X X X ### TikTok Video Coding **What's this project about?** This project aims to build a database of TikTok videos that have been coded for their use of misleading strategies. The database will form a useful resource for researchers seeking to understand the prevalence and features of misinformation on TikTok. There are X videos in the database that were obtained in May-June 2022 by naturalistic simulation, using six curated TikTok accounts where research assistants adopted a persona and each watched 28 hours of TikTok. **What can I get involved in?** We welcome volunteers interested in: * Coding TikTok videos - no previous experience needed * Analysis of coded videos (starting July 2023) - will involve quantitaive analysis using R or Python * Other ideas - we are happy to look at other ways you can join this project! **Contact** *Dawn or Jackie?* to join this project! **Current team members:** See [this list](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1m-2G8UjGNDMOISkn9xWoOQaRuaSZNhduVWr1et7Wzio/edit#gid=0) ### A rubric for reviewing preprints **What's this project about?** *Here a description of what the knowledge base project is currently doing* **What can I get involved in?** We welcome volunteers interested in: * Coding student reviews of preprints * Writing preprint reviews * Linguistic analysis of preprint reviews * [If you teach] Trialing preprint review as module/course assessments **Contact** [Dawn Holford](dawn.holford@bristol.ac.uk) to join this project! **Current team members:** Dawn Holford, Vera Kempe, Janet McLean, Alex Holcombe, Iratxe Puebla ### COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook and Wiki **What's this project about?** This project tracks behavioural science evidence and advice about COVID-19 vaccine uptake. The handbook is a static PDF that can be downloaded from the [main page](https://c19vax.scibeh.org) and distributed. Within the PDF there are links to a wider Wiki which is updated with evolving information about the various issues around COVID-19 vaccination. **What can I get involved in?** We welcome volunteers interested in: * Monitoring and maintaining up to date information on the Wiki **Contact** [Stephan Lewandowsky](mailto:stephan.lewandowsky@bristol.ac.uk) to join this project! **Current team members:** See [this page](https://c19vax.scibeh.org/contributors) --- *Stuff I haven't included because we're not exactly recruiting - maybe I should mention it's a current project but isn't recruiting at the moment?* * PsyArXiv paper (no more recruitment for the moment as we are finalising second resubmission) * Myths portal - anti-vaccination argument coding (very specific expertise needed) * ROTT (for Ezequiel to determine next steps and how all of us can support) * Consensus documents paper (meta paper based on existing contributor's experience) --- Should we also list past projects below? (I'm thinking probably not, all our past projects of note are already on the website, so unless we want to revamp the website considerably, we should probably not add them here too.)
