# #CryptoLife Registration Process
We want the registration to be as smooth as possible, and we want it to have a real effect on the way participants use, interact with, and view "crypto".
There should be minimal queues at the doors, and registering each participant ought to take no more than 1 minute.
We will have multiple tables set up:
1. **Table 1 (x2 in Front Entrance)**: actual registration, manned by Status volunteers. We have a spreadhseet of attendees and they need to show some ID (credit card, driver’s licence, passport, National ID) that matches the name on our list. Receive bracelet/lanyard with details and a map on the back of the event space. Check for Status. If Status is not installed, can go to Table A for help/downloading.
2. **Table 2 (x2 immediately in Front Hall)**: Install Status if not already installed. Most people will likely need to sign onto the wifi to download the app which will take a few minutes so there is space outside the flow for this to happen.
4. **Table 3 (x2 deeper in Front Hall)**: Helpers hanging out to assist people with ENS registration (Test Team, Barry, Rachel, Richard, Ricardo etc.). We will have printed sheets with QR codes on them. Once scanned, just cross out with a sharpie (even though they can't be used twice). Registrants need to scan the QR from Status, confirm that the transaction was successful, and then buy an ENS name. They could need help at any point in this.
After a simple registration, [scanning the unique QR code with Status](https://github.com/status-im/hackathon-registration-dapp) will fund your wallet with some SNT (to be used as 'token payments' for food and drinks at the event) and some ETH (enough to register an ENS username and pay for gas).
It will also re-direct you straight to the ENS registration DApp, and the helpers will be around to assist anyone who gets lost in the process of registering their name on chain. Helpers should be Barry, Richard, Ricardo, Rachel, Pat, Hester, Philip and whomever else wants to use the opportunity to do some in-the-wild user testing and feedback.
There will be a few more volunteers at key points in the venue to direct everyone to the main hall for the beginning of the event, as well as provide more information on the rest of the space, and what will be happening in each room: Philosopher's Salon, Kickback Room, The Bitcoin Podcast Room etc.
## A Note On Physical Security
We need to have one security guard there for insurance reasons with the events company, but we want to make sure that all of the most friendly people are manning the door to create as warm, welcoming and hospitable environment as we can. Security will be very much in the background - and only there for if something goes very wrong - but we want the faces of Status to be people's first experience as they walk in.
