## Questions to Ask
### Contact Questions
- Do we have a contact there?
- [x] Yes (+2)
- [ ] No (-2)
- [ ] Maybe (0)
- Who?
- .Xochitl (Bau), Taylor (UI369), Aaron (UI369)
- Who at DAOhaus has this contact?
- .
- Are they willing to use their clout for this grant?
- [x] Yes (+2)
- [ ] No (-1)
- [ ] Maybe (0)
### Grant Information
#### Details
1. Is DAOhaus deployed on the blockchain this project uses?

- [x] Yes(+5)
- [ ] No(-20)
- [ ] Not relevant in this case(+2)
3. Is gnosis safe deployed on the chain?
- [ ] Yes(+2)
- [ ] No(-2)
- [ ] Not relevant in this case(+2)
4. Is the graph available?
- [ ] Yes(+5)
- [ ] No(-20)
- [ ] Not relevant in this case(+2)
(Comment: Perhaps instead of asking this only, we can ask 'is it EVM compatible?', 'Do they have the Graph?', 'will our tooling work?', 'is Gnosis deployed there?'. This is of course would be in addition to the question that you wrote.)
5. Does this grant pay for deployment and support on the required evm blockchain?
- [x] Yes(+10)
- [ ] No(-5)
- [ ] Not required(+5)
- [ ] No and it will be required(-10)
- [ ] Maybe(0)
6. What size grants are available?
**UI369:** *seems to be open on requested grant amount. Xochitl said grants over 50K have to be 'reviewed by grants committee'*
- [ ] up to 10k(+2)
- [ ] 10K to 50K(+3)
- [ ] 50K to 100K(+5)
- [ ] 100K to 250K(+8)
- [ ] 250K - 500K(+13)
- [x] 500k - 1 Million(+21)
- [ ] Greater than 1 million(+34)
7. What is the application process like?
- [ ] Forum Post(0)
- [x] Typeform(0)
- [ ] Other(0)
8. What stages are required after initial application?
- [ ] Stage 2 Forum Post(0)
- [ ] Stage 3 Forum Post(0)
- [ ] Onchain Proposal(0)
- [x] Meetings/presentations(0)
(I'm ok with as many stages as they want. The crucial part is will they answer our DMs and take the time to meet us)
> [name=boilerrat]Kept the questions there because it's nice to know these things but changed it to neutral right across as far as application process.
9. Are all the resources to complete application readily available? (ie slide deck, statistics, diagrams etc.)?
- [ ] Yes(+3)
- [ ] No(-1)
- [x] Maybe(0)
(I'm wondering in which case would we be able to answer 'yes' to this)
> [name=boilerrat]hopefully repo will get to a place where most info and materials are located
10. If no, how difficult would it be to create the required resource?
- [ ] Easy(+3)
- [ ] Relatively Easy(+2)
- [x] Somewhat Difficult(-1)
- [ ] Very Difficult(-5)
(I'm thinking that due to the custom, service oriented direction we may need to take, we'll be answering 'Very Difficult' to a lot of these. I'm growing skeptical about DAOs giving us money to 'keep on keeping on'. But that doesn't mean we need to change this. Just a thought )
11. Estimated time frame to prepare proposal?
- [ ] Less than one day(+3)
- [ ] One day to under 1 week(+2)
- [x] One to Two Weeks(+1)

- [ ] Unknown(0)
12. Estimated time frame to start to completion?
- [x] Less than 1 month(+15)
- [ ] 1 - 2 Months(10)
- [ ] 2-3 months(-5)
- [ ] Greater than 3 month(-10)
- [ ] Unknown(-5)
(I'd probably make the scores a little dramatic for this. Speed is pretty crucial. Especially in retaining talent.)
13. Is the community active? *An inactive community increases difficulty to reach quorum*
- [x] Yes(+6)
- [ ] Nohe nature of the KPIs. I would love something to keep us accountable to a goal, especially if it aligns with our own)
15. How much effort will be required to maintain theseort, and get us a good amount of cash.
- [ ] Little Effort(+3)
- [ ] Moderate Effort(-1)
- [x] A Lot of Effort(-3)
- [ ] Unknown(-2)
16. Is there a person or team th our technical involvement be required?
- [x] No time required
- [ ] One Month

- [ ] 6 Months to a year
- [x] In it for life
#### Public Goods
19. Will this grant aide in accomplishing the mission of DAOhaus as a public good?
- [x] Yes(+4)
- [ ] No(-4)
- [ ] Maybe(0)
- Explain:
- . Celo is mission aligned with DAOhaus as a public good
- . Celo wants everybody on Earth to be 'prospee DAOhaus protocol?
- [x] Yes(+10)
- [ ] No(-2)
- [ ] Maybe(0)
(let's score this higher. Maybe change it to, 'Do the goals of the givenain how:
- . More users of DAOhaus for coordination on the purpose-aligned Celo chain
- . First line of the DAOhaus Manifesto: "We envision a fu(Might be better to talk about the nature of the KPIs. I would love something to keep us accountable to a goal, especially if it aligns with our own)

- . Front page of Celo.org: "We build pr **UI369:** Depends on how we structure our application, but I think we should shoot big and take on something that will require a good amount of effort, and get us a good amount of cash. UI369] They have a Request for Proposals page:

>There is a Web 3 Infrastructure & Developer Tooling section. The closest thing to DAO tooling that I see is "CELO Holder Staking Tools, Off-chain voting like Snapshot, Multi-token voting like Snapshot" - this could be that they don't understand Moloch-style DAOs and have it boiled down to "voting tools" - so we could open their eyes here.
>
> Under DeFi there is "Community Funding Platforms" - Y33T et al fits that.
>
> There is also an Education & Community Building, Promote Use of Celo & Blockchain Ecosystem Inspired Projects in a section labeled "Other Areas to Consider"
- [x] Yes(+2)
- [ ] No(-2)
- [ ] Unknown(0)
22. Are there competing solutions?
- [ ] Yes(-1)
- [ ] No(+1)
- [x] Unsure(0)
- List the competition:
- .
- .
- .
- .
- .
23. Can we do it better?
- [ ] Yes(+2)
- [ ] Not really(-2)
- [x] unsure(0)
#### Dev Team
25. Will this grant require a dev team?
> [name=UI369] It depends how we structure the grant, but it very well could if we say we need a dev team
- [ ] Yes(-2)
- [ ] No(+15)
- [x] Maybe(0)
(Interesting. I'd maybe even score 'No' a little higher here.)
26. Is there a team in available to work on this project?
- [ ] Yes(+5)
- [ ] No(-10)
- [ ] Maybe(0)
- [ ] Not required(+2)
- Who is available?
- .
- .
- .
- .
27. Are more people required?
- [ ] Yes(-2)
- [ ] No(+2)
- [ ] Maybe(0)
- What roles are required to fill out team?
- .
- .
- .
- .
28. Will it be relatively easy to find people to fill these roles?
- [ ] Should be no problem(+3)
- [ ] Chances are likely but not for sure(+2)
- [ ] maybe(0)
- [ ] might be hard(-2)
- [ ] This will be difficult roles to fill(-3)
(I get what you're after here, but might be a little redundant)
29. How long would it take to complete this project (aprox.)?
> [name=UI369] Again, depends a lot on how we scope the request, which correlates to how much money we request.
- [ ] Less than a week(+2)
- [ ] 1 month(+1)
- [ ] 1 to 2 months(0)
- [ ] 2 to 3 months(-1)
- [ ] greater than 3 month(-2)
(I'm ok with this taking a year, so long as the money is there)
> [name=boilerrat] I lowered it a bit, I think I'll add a few more numbers on that question and have a higher weight to the highest end grants
~~30. Probability of successful development
- [ ] 100%(+10)
- [ ] 75-99%(-3)
- [ ] 50-75%(-6)
- [ ] Less than 50%(-15)
- [ ] No development needed(+10)~~
(Might be redundant or difficult to ascertain. Also, if we have bad odds of successful development, for example, deploying on Cardano where the stack is way different than everyone is used to, then we should just not continue.)
~~31. If development fails or goes off schedule, will the providers find that acceptable?(Interesting. I'd maybe even score 'No' a little higher here.)
+5)
- [ ] Unsure(0)~~
(Probably no or less penalty for 'No'. I like accountability.)
32. Is there a question above you would like to override?
- [ ] Yes
- [ ] No
