Sometimes it was easy to forget how it was "outside" wandering in the city among the brightly lit skyscrapers that pierced the clouds up above. The rumbling steps of the mechanical giants that somehow maneuvered on the streets as silent sentinels. The flying cars buzzing around them like an endless swarm as people moved on with their daily lives. It was ever so easy to lose yourself into this world and forget. Forget about the disasters that had happened and their lasting effects that still plagued the "outside world".

It was unclear how this new "virtual world" had been put together. The only consensus was humanity's desire to remain connected with each other, and inspiration from fiction that existed before the disasters. Countless pockets like this, created with the intention to serve as a new living space, as a new way to connect. Still the technology couldn't achieve the details from that old fiction. Eventually such projects merged with each other, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a mess of incompatible code. Yet people's desire to be together made them overlook such a thing, eventually fading into background quirks of the system.

One could wander the odd pathways merging the different pockets of varying quality and details like the alleys in a great city. Go from place to place watching the code crash like ocean waves, flickering the virtual world from detail to an unfinished mess without a care as a reminder of reality. Someone once referred to this virtual world as "an uncanny alley", no one truly knows where the label began, but it caught on. It was after all catchier and easier to remember than the countless names of the dead projects that merged in the past.

so basically all those small containers are gonna be small collabs with other members. For example maybe a alley Rat with Phetta, 1 avatar but 5 skins, then decide how to split/cost/sell the remix? Somthing like that then we have the bigger tear collabs like boombox where we have multiple object based avatars. Then BIG ones like MF that are planned and more long tailed collabs?

The Greys

THinking to do the first 200?/500? as a set of "The Greys" So the general colorscheme is all gonna match up really nice, then we can do future editions using colors as our navigator. So first Uncanny Alley Collab is a set of grey robots. (THey will have different textures and feels but all grey in scheme), no clothes to worry abt yet. All solid meshes so shld be easy.

Spent some time finding a good level of material and polycount. We sitting at around 5MB per avatar WITH parts added. Left is robot in web, right is same model from unity. First little test of a GREY, gives an example of how they look.. I thought to merge meshes after with the M3 tool but maybe we want to keep em all separate pieces all the time.

Thinking for the Metafactory x Uncanny alley collab could be like you get the one on the left as free mint. Then you can upgrade/somehow to get extra parts (like One far right). If you then buy the hoodie with the Uncanny Bot on it it unlocks the limited edition hoodie one or something.

I think a new base for metafactory Maybe something like this, could do a Male and Female version. Then can also attach VROID heads etc. (this is exact spec as default male VROID avatar) Do you think we shld attempt separate legs/arms/torso so can have differet type of limbs?
