## Machinery Descriptions
**Ore Drill**
Mines ore automatically from ore veins. Starts with a basic drill assembly inside, which can be exchanged for stronger drills later. Drill bit needs re-alignment manually or via program. If not re-aligned, the drill will break down and need physical repair.
**Conveyer**
Conveyers, they move stuff, these already exist.
**Ore Crusher**
Breaks down the ore into raw material parts. (IE: Ore mined from a silty ore deposit can be broken down into iron ore, sand, and rarely plasma ore.) Crushing Wheels overheat as it processes ore, with longer intervals between ore crushes meaning less heat. Heat can also be reduced by initiating a cooldown, manually or via program which shuts the machine off for 10s. If it overheats, it will break down and need physical repair.
**Ore Packager**
All Processed and unprocessed ores can be collected on one side of the packager. It will store ores until it reaches capacity (50), or is manually told to eject. Ejected ores come out in a storage box which can be picked up by a mech or mod-suit, or dragged manually back to station. If the machine reaches capacity and is unable to eject the ores, it build up stress. If unable to relieve the stress, it can breakdown and need physical repair.
**Ore Refiner**
The end destination for all ore. Located on station. Accepts Raw Ore, Processed Ore, and Ore Packages. This machine does not experience breakdown but can be sabotaged by traitors. If sabotaged, it will not accept any ore and attempting to put ore into it will result in violent ejections of material.
**Super PACMAN**
A larger version of its portable cousins, the SUPER PACMAN produces larger amounts of power and can be toggled to accept either plasma or uranium.
**Power Relay Pylons**
Powers Machines in a 9x9 radius and shunts power to other Pylons within the radius. Initial Pylon needs a direct wire connection to an APC to draw power from. Also establishes connections of Mining Machinery to The Mining Network Program, allowing Mining Technicians to view the Machines conditions from anywhere make adjustments as needed.
**Landing Site Beacon**
Used by technicians to designate new landing zones for the mining shuttles. Only one shuttle can land at one zone at a time.
**Foul Weather Netting**
Temporary shelter from weather effects. Constructed quickly using glass and iron. Lasts 2 storms before it deteriorates.
**Power Relay Laser**
Engineering Laser that sends power down to lavaland. Lavaland has a reciever that absorbs the sent power. Traitors will get an objective to sabotage this, or utilize it for nefarious reasons.
## Ore Veins
The new way to obtain ores. Located on the ground instead of inside of walls. Ore veins contain 3 ores per type. 2 common ores, and one rare ore. The ores mined out can either be refined straight into material for 400 u of both common material and 200u of the rare material, or broken down into a refined ore, which is only one type but is worth a full sheet.
Veins also output ore based on their quality each mining cycle. Rich Veins produce at 1.5 ore per cycle. Standard Veins 1 ore per cycle. Poor Veins 0.5 ore per cycle. And Depleted Veins output only 0.1 ore per cycle.
As veins are mined, they reduced in quality into they reach depleted status, at which point they degrade no further. While technically infinite, finding new veins to replace depleted ones is neccessary.
### Vein Types
#### Common
* **Silty Vein**: Silty Ore: Iron 40%, Sand 40%, Plasma 20%
* **Dull Vein**: Dull Ore: Iron 40%, silver 40%, titanium 20%
* **Chalky Vein**: Chalky Ore: Sand 40%, plasma 40%, gold 20%
* **Treacherous Vein** Treacherous Ore: Plasma 45%, Uranium 45%, gibtonite 10% (Unique Ore. It is worth 500U of Plasma and Uranium unproccessed, and, when gibtonite is refined as a result, the gibtonite has a 20% base chance of being activated, which can be reduced by improving the crusher)
#### Uncommon
* **Glittering Vein**: Glittering Ore: Gold 40%, Silver 40%. Diamond 20%
* **Malleable Vein**: Malleable Ore: Titanium 40%, Uranium 40%, iron 20%
#### Rare
* **Crystalline Vein**: Crystalline Ore: Plasma 40%, Diamond 40%, Bluespace 20%
#### Super Rare
* **Squeaky Vein**: Squeaky Ore: Gold 40%, Bananium 55%, Gibtonite 5% (Unique Ore. It is worth 500U of Gold and Bananium unproccessed, and, when gibtonite is refined as a result, the gibtonite has a 100% base chance of being activated, which can be reduced by improving the crusher. Kinda funny ain't it.)
This part might be being revised.
~~### Industrial Mining RCD~~
~~RCDs are used in a lot of things from basic construction, to plumbing and atmospherics. So it makes sense for the new mining machinery to have an RCD capable of building everything that Mining Technicians require for their operation. However I thought of some improvements that a job entirely reliant on device could have.~~
~~**Holographic Blueprints**: The new industrial RCD has a toggle between blueprint mode and build mode. Blueprint mode creates holographic images of the what would be constructed.~~
~~These holograms are only visible to people wearing meson goggles and cost nothing to produce. You can map out a entire system even if you don't have the resources to yet build it.~~
~~**Area Building**: The Industrial RCD can build within an area of the user, not just the tiles next to him. While build mode is active blueprints within the radius will also be constructed. Leaving the area before the construction is finished will pause the construction until you return.~~
~~**No Matter Input**: The Industrial RCD wouldn't function well if it required matter input every 2 minutes. However, its not free. It draws the material requirement for each construction straight from the Ore Silo, meaning if you run out of materials in the silo it can no longer construct anything.~~
~~**Size Matters**: The new Industrial RCDs have multiple formats. Mining Technicians start with prototype two hand held versions that only work in a 3x3 radius. They also start with a ripley that has a 7x7 area version. More can be created via R&D and advanced versions can be researched.~~
