# GoldenTicketh: Raffles With Drawings Determined By Changing Crypto Prices

*What is GoldenTicketh?*

GoldenTicketh is a unique raffle-based game where players can win ETH if they purchase a ticket with numbers that match a daily drawing, which is determined using crypto prices (ETH, LTC, BTC).

Because raffle tickets are based on changing crypto prices, there is a potential for players with good price prediction skills to have a higher chance of guessing the daily winning number.

GoldenTicketh is a unique raffle-based game where winning tickets are determined by changing daily cryptocurrency prices (ETH, BTC, LTC and others).

The game combines luck with players' price prediction skills. This means there is an opportunity for savvy players to have a better chance of guessing the winning numbers if they understand daily crypto price movements.

## Playing GoldenTicketh

Each day, players can purchase three-number Golden Tickeths. Winning numbers for these tickeths will be determined by a provably fair random drawing based on a snapshot of a combination of LTC + BTC + ETH prices.

After each daily drawing those who purchase tickets are eligible to win three prizes:

* **First Prize**: Match all three drawn numbers (in order)

* **Second Prize**: Match the last two drawn numbers (in order)

* **Third Prize**: Match the last digit of the drawn number

Players can purcahse individual tickeths (and select their own numbers). They can also buy 10 tickeths (using randomly generated numbers).

## Picking Winning Numbers and Paying Winners

Each day, six numbers are drawn, e.g., 235877.

* Those with tickeths matching the first three numbers (235) will win the jackpot

* Those with ticketh matching the next two numbers (87) will win the 2nd prize

* The third prize goes to all those with tickeths matching the final number (7)

All ticketh holders who win the jackpot, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will share the winnings.

For example, if 10 people have winning numbers, and the ETH prize is 20 ETH, all winners will share the winnings. (See table below for winning percentages based on first, second and third prizes.)

++Purchasing Multiple Tickets: How This Affects Winnings++

If you buy multiple tickeths with the same number and win, you'll earn a higher percentage of the total shared prize pot.

For example, if the total number of winning tickeths purchased was 10 and you own 5 of the winning tickeths, you'll earn 50% of the prize pool.

### Fetching Accurate Crypto Prices

To fetch coin prices for all our price prediction DApps, we use Oraclize, a framework allowing smart contracts to query data from external sources.

Oraclize is used by a range of blockchain companies to secure off-chain data, including Axie Infinity (to determine Axie breeding results).

Note: Oraclize is now named Provable.

Oraclize provides verifiable proof for every fetch, so anyone can check the validity of price data. Our contracts set the maximum security level for Oraclize (this comes with an overhead price for every fetch).

CryptoCompare is the provider for all of our price prediction DApps.
