Live Streaming coding

If you can livestream your coding for those who are not yet comfortable coding please do!

One way to set this up using Youtube is:

  • download Open Broadcast Studio
  • Set up a youtube live session (by pressing the camera+ button top-right)
  • Schedule the session for 3pm on October 9th
  • Get shareable link from scheduled stream and paste in your participants log here below (create one if it's not yet there)
  • When you are about to start coding
    • Open OBS software
    • Set Stream Key to key created in the youtube livesession
    • Choose your mic and Code editor window
    • Start streaming
    • Press Go live in youtube stream
