💰 Quadratic Lenster <> Raid Guild ⚔️

💚 Likes are the ultimate shitcoin: inexuastable supply, non transferable, worthless. The dopamine chasing dynamics of ‘likes’ are ineffective at upregulating what is useful, whereas quadratic tipping trials on GitCoin townsquare (a social feed) resulted in better quality discourse, the emergence of community customer service, and the surfacing of useful content. SuperModular wants to fork the mechanism of GitCoin Grants (the quadratic funding protocol) and apply it to Lenster.

Note: We will be leveraging the composability of both Lens and Grants. However, that also injects a dependency on their goodwill and support. We've already started reaching out to both teams on how to deliver the product. In case of unforeseen roadblocks we will be transparent and try to find a workaround. But since both protocols provide solid infrastructure the smart path is collaboration.

With Smart Escrow - any address on Gnosis Chain can fund the account, but to approve milestones - you will need to connect with your EOA (0x00De4B13153673BCAE2616b67bf822500d325Fc3) to release payments to the Raid Party.

Upon successful completion of each milestone, we will ask you to release Escrow payments.

In case of dispute

If you lose confidence in the Raid Party at any time, you may Lock the remaining funds in escrow.

If you do not release funds upon completion of deliverables, the Raid Party may Lock the remaining funds in escrow.

In both cases, the Lock triggers the arbitration provider (i.e., LexDAO) to review the dispute. Based on their review, the arbitration provider will decide which party should receive what amount of funds, and will send a transaction to the escrow contract that will transfer the appropriate amounts to each party.

We sincerely hope this won't be the case, but all parties are protected nevertheless.
