# EIPs Insight (December 2021)

## Summary
In Decemeber, the EIP repository received [8 new proposals](https://hackmd.io/SjtSl-lWS0Kyg9jFjnvdxg?both#New-proposals-Draft) as `Draft`. [7 EIPs](https://hackmd.io/@poojaranjan/EthereumImprovementProposalsInsight/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2F%40poojaranjan%2FEIPsInsightDecember2021#To-Stagnant) are moved to `Stagnant` and [3 EIPs](https://hackmd.io/SjtSl-lWS0Kyg9jFjnvdxg?both#Stagnant-to-Draft) are resurrected to `Draft`. [3 EIPs](https://hackmd.io/SjtSl-lWS0Kyg9jFjnvdxg?both#Draft-to-Review) are moved to `Review` and one proposal ([EIP-4345: Difficulty Bomb Delay to June 2022](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-4345)) was moved to `Last Call` which eventually became `Final` when the [Arrow Glacier upgrade](https://medium.com/ethereum-cat-herders/ethereum-arrow-glacier-upgrade-e8d20fa4c002) was deployed on the Mainnet.


Two important [changes added to EIP-1](https://hackmd.io/SjtSl-lWS0Kyg9jFjnvdxg?both#Changes-to-EIP-1) are removal of "Bibliography" and discontinue the use of `Issue` number as `EIP #` for a new proposal. There are some other changes to update EIP-bot and multiple `Final` EIPs were updated to update wording and EIP author name format.
