# hiveWATER Covenant The hiveWATER DAO is an investment club dedicated to supporting 1Hive and its governance token, Honey. The DAO has 3 mandates: 1. **The hiveWATER DAO will act in the best interest of 1Hive** 2. **Funding Proposals for hiveWATER will only be used to fund DAO-owned Liquidity Pools (LPs).** *The DAO may elect to add a fee to funding proposals - this fee will never exceed 1% of the funding proposal amount.* 3. **The DAO will not swap any of its hiveWATER or LP tokens.** *The DAO may elect to adjust its LP positions by removing hiveWATER from an LP and adding to another, and it may elect to swap the tokens it holds besides hiveWATER.* The goal of the hiveWATER DAO is to grow sustainable liquidity for the Honey token by accumulating liquidity with strategic pairs, funded by Honey from 1Hive and any other tokens the DAO earns for this pursuit. **Members of the hiveWATER community agree to the pledge originally created for the 1Hive DAO:** We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
