  • Problem Governance tokens + "price goes up" mentality = inherent conflict between investors and contributors. This isn't a problem for organizations that build private goods since both groups share a common goal: profit. But for organizations that build non-private goods, maximizing the project's mission is often at odds with maximizing its revenue. Solution A 2-token model solve this by separating these functions:

  • Proposal for $SAFE Allocation from Safe Guardians Allocation Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Bedgao8BeXNi8ExOhIKLVZg_8hJd-ej6pXimJim1WbY/edit#gid=0 Quick Overview 2 years ago we got an allocation of $SAFE tokens (vesting over 4 years) for work described here. Most of our proposed work didn't happen and isn't on any active working group's roadmap, so our goal is to find a new use for these tokens that will help grow the $SAFE ecosystem and reward the people and orgs involved in helping secure this funding in the first place. Proposed Allocation Total $SAFE tokens: 132,415.25

  • Proposal Description: This proposal is requesting 800 HNY to fund the Honeyswap working group which was created with the goal of deploying Honeyswap on the zkSync Era mainnet. We're excited to announce that the deployment is near completion, and we are requesting funding to reimburse the work completed on testnet so far and to fund the remaining work required to launch on mainnet. Additionally, a portion of the funding will be allocated to marketing and partnerships to help grow liquidity and volume on the new network post-launch. Goals: Honeyswap deployed on the zkSync Era mainnet successfully - no rugs no bugs. Liquidity reaching $10 million by the end of 2023. Transaction volume reaching $10 million by the end of 2023. Positive user feedback and engagement on the platform.

  • The hiveWATER DAO is an investment club dedicated to supporting 1Hive and its governance token, Honey. The DAO has 3 mandates: The hiveWATER DAO will act in the best interest of 1Hive Funding Proposals for hiveWATER will only be used to fund DAO-owned Liquidity Pools (LPs). The DAO may elect to add a fee to funding proposals - this fee will never exceed 1% of the funding proposal amount. The DAO will not swap any of its hiveWATER or LP tokens. The DAO may elect to adjust its LP positions by removing hiveWATER from an LP and adding to another, and it may elect to swap the tokens it holds besides hiveWATER. The goal of the hiveWATER DAO is to grow sustainable liquidity for the Honey token by accumulating liquidity with strategic pairs, funded by Honey from 1Hive and any other tokens the DAO earns for this pursuit.

  • hiveWATER - a new store of value for 1Hive Proposal Information This proposal is requesting 800 HNY (~$10,000) from the Common Pool, along with $8,000 xDAI from the Treasury Swarm Gnosis Safe to fund the creation of hiveWATER, a DAO whose purpose is to provide sustainable, scalable liquidity for the Honey token on Honeyswap by serving as a proxy for liquidity with strategic tokens such as xDAI, WETH, and/or WBTC. 100% of funding from this proposal will be used to create 2 liquidity pools (LPs) on Honeyswap: hiveWATER/HNY ($20,000 total liquidity) hiveWATER/xDAI ($16,000 total liquidity) An initial starting price of $0.01 will be set at launch for hiveWATER. This number is arbitrary since hiveWATER’s price after launch will be a function of its price correlation with HNY and xDAI and price slippage from individuals swapping for hiveWATER.

  • 1Hive GRT Grant Funding Overview 1Hive has been granted GRT to help fund our migration to The Graph. Funds will pay for the migration work and the ongoing query fees after migration. It'll also be a good idea to curate our subgraphs so indexers are incentivized to index them, and use idle GRT to earn fees either by indexing or delegating to an existing indexer. Let's collaborate through this doc to plan how to use these funds. Amount Received GRT is granted per product based on the subgraph volume for each, with a portion sent upfront and a portion vesting over 4 years, paid out quarterly:
