Projects need to either
For projects that require cooperation from people or companies in a specific industry, show how we'd get a foothold in that industry (for example: people who would be open to collaborate, personal experience, etc.)
…with built in bi-directional linking and ownership via blockchain.
This is a system which social platforms like Facebook could be granted permission to access, acting just as a UI layer, rather than a data-store. Individuals would own their own posts, pictures, music files, video; this could be stored by a service or self-hosted depending on their preference.
The blockchain aspect would track ownership and linked data. For example, the fact that someone linked to, altered and reposted, that multiple people are involved (tags in a photo, co-written article, etc.)
Create a website which allows people to play with the variables involved in the programmed monetary policy of a token (aka tokenomics). This could begin as educational, but the goal would be to allow people to design and then create the newly designed token on the Tezos blockchain, without having to program it themselves.
The design work would lie in isolating many variables and the technical challenge would be to automatically convert that into a token. I'm not certain how generic it's possible to make this, but it could also be used with other blockchains if it panned out.
Guarantee payments for artists, architects, other creatives from countries where normally they can't be hired due to lack of a trustworthy system (international banking limitations).
Two main points:
The system (at root) would be a service for transferring money, which could then be used for various applications including this one. The specific implementation in this field, however, would require collaboration with people willing to implement it. (Who?)
…of virtual therapists. There's a world of informal/alternative care and many types are moving online. Even for conventional therapy, regulatory bodies have not adapted to care that can be done in 3D virtual spaces.
For insurance and legal purposes + being able to tell credible care practitioners from those that are not, there is a need for a new type of virtual certification that’s specific to care done online and with different requirements than conventional licenses.
This would be a collaborative project with Bianca's virtual therapy mental health care commons. She needs a way based on (experience + any real-life licences + ratings/reputation points in-game) to provide some verification of the care providers in a gaming environment.
…for homeless people, for people who don't have countries, and others who fall into the cracks between governments and systems.
What if we didn't have to trust government servers and physical papers for essential records? What if they were part of a decentralied self-soverign ID system, independant of country? Birth certificates, identity numbers…if you start with those who don't have these things, and solve it well, later it might scale to passports, visas, citizenship records for anyone
also, what about a standardized way of describing the variables involved in the 'rules' of a currency? aka the definition of it. Things like… interest rates, demurrage, what allows more of it to exist, what it can be exchanged for (when this is fixed by the party who can provide the thing),
