What is a revnet?

  • bizmodel based on network effect, over time, where newer participants acknowledge contributions from prior participants.

  • its a jb project owned by a contract that enforces 3 specific rules:

    • ETH or USDC treasury?
    • price ceiling created by the issuance rate (i.e. 100 $NANCE / 1 ETH)
    • price ceiling's increase rate (2.5% every 28 days) [discount rate]
    • price floor's tax intensity [redemption rate]
    • boost [reserved rate], 20% of $NANCE issuance to nance.eth multisig for first 3 years, 10% $NANCE issuance for the next 10 years.
    • boost operator (zeugh.eth). can reroute the boost percentage at time to various splits. change the boost operator.

Tuning a revnet for $NANCE

current NANCE budget ~ $12k / 2 weeks

1. charge X ETH paid into the REVNET. As a result, boost will get $NANCE, and moondao will get $NANCE. if moondao wants a rebate on their purchase, they can redeem the $NANCE.
2. charge X $NANCE. they have to go to the REVNET and get it and give it to you.
