Timeline Social Media Maintenance Social Media Deep Dive Fedora Ready Marketing Help Mentor TasksWeek 1 * Post to account if comfortable * Look at how the Mastodon, IG, and LinkedIn accounts are run * Get familiar with the profile of the social media channel they will run, how many followers we have, who we’re following. Look for opportunities to spruce things up. * Get familiar with the brand for the specific vendor you’ll focus on (probably Slimbook) * Get familiar with the Fedora Project * Find one area of the project that you’re interested in doing regular marketing for * Have an account ready to give to intern * Prepare basic docs on how to do social media management * Prep links to sources of content * Prep template HackMD for applicants to base their HackMDs onWeek 2 * Post at least once every weekday * Identify profiles of other prominent Linux distros and report how many followers they have.
