Time for some action in Venice Beach
FarCon is May 1 - 5 in Venice Beach. It will bring together the most influential builders in the Farcaster and Base communities. These are the people who can help grow the treasury, get the word out, and build with our tools.
An inspiring and educational story focusing on what is Vrbs and how it enhances community engagement through Web3. This narrative emphasizes the autonomy Web3 provides to creators, positioning Farcaster as a pioneering platform. Action in this case is skateboarding. Can also organize a skydive into or a heli ride over the park.
Venice Beach is the quintessential location due to its iconic status in skate culture and its vibrant atmosphere. This locale stands as a historical hub for skateboarding and a melting pot for creators. Hosting the event in Venice Beach allows for a dynamic fusion of physical and digital worlds, where the energy of street-level skateboarding can merge seamlessly with cutting-edge Web3 technology, fostering an environment ripe for collaboration, inspiration, and community growth. This setting ensures the event is not just another conference but a landmark occasion that amplifies FarCons impact and relevance.
FarCon represents a pivotal gathering for those at the forefront of shaping the future of Web3, making it an essential destination for industry leaders and innovators. As the primary communication tool for the Base community, Farcaster provides a platform where the best builders in the space are actively collaborating, sharing insights, and pushing the boundaries of technology and community engagement. It serves as a crucial hub for the Nouns DAO, facilitating interactions that are vital for sustaining growth and fostering new developments in the ecosystem. This event is where current and future trends are shaped, offering attendees the unique opportunity to be part of the conversation defining the contours of the digital future and providoinn the gateway for the next generation entering Web3.
How do we quantify…
Grant Applications and Contests: Apply for another grant from BASE to create a new contest on the Vrbs Based Contests page, positioned alongside the current "Bring 1000 People Onchain" contest. Or within the same effort. This will help in further engaging our community and onboarding new members.
On-the-spot Onboarding: We aim to enhance our Farcaster strategy by onboarding new Casters on the spot at the event, using a sponsored mint button. QR codes will be strategically placed across the park to facilitate onboarding skateboarders and fans to Farcaster, showcasing the ease of casting.
Burnkit Collaboration: Burnkit, will collaborate with Vrbs. We plan to involve the Burnkit crew at the event and connect with skate brands or shops like Zumiez that carry Burnkit. This will extend our reach to non-chain users and boost Vrbs brand awareness.
Utilizing $SENDIT for Prizes: By matching contest prizes with the $SENDIT token, we foster collaboration among Vrbs, Gnars, BASE, and Farcaster communities. Featuring interviews with representatives from each community during the event will highlight our comprehensive community engagement.
Focus on Vrbs Dao and Farcaster: As we approach the event, our promotional efforts will primarily target the Vrbs DAO opportunities to inform attendees about Vrbs and the benefits of participating. We’ll also use the $SENDIT token to match prizes in the contest.
What communities do we need to activate?
