When your team member count reaches the limit of a free private team, you can subscribe to the Prime Team to add new members to the team. The subscription fee is based on the number of team members.
Click the icon next to your team work space, click on Team billing and then click Upgrade.

The price of the Prime Team is US$5 per member per month. This is a limited offer, which is lifted since 2021, after we ship annual payment.
The billing method for the paid team plan is calculated from the day you make the payment, and your paid team fee for the following month will be charged on the same day.
If the number of team members changes during the payment cycle
Our team started a monthly subscription plan on January 15th, initially with four members. Before the next monthly payment, one more member was added. How should we be charged?
On January 15th, HackMD will charge US$32 for the basic fee.
Assume the fifth member joins the team on February 1st. On the next billing date, February 15th, HackMD will calculate the prorated fee for the fifth member (14 days had passed from Feb. 1st to Feb. 14th) and add to the fee for the next period (Feb.15th to Mar. 15th):
Adding the subscription fee for 5 people for the next period ($40), a total of $43.61 will be charged on February 15.
Assuming the number of members remains constant, the regular fee of $40 will be charged on March 15.
If we are on a monthly subscription plan (paid on the 15th of each month), and before the next payment date, the team size decreases from 5 to 4 members on March 1st, how will the calculation be done?
We will refund the fee for the unused days of that team member within the subscription period (from March 1st to March 14th), and add the fee for the four members for the next cycle ($32).
If my billing date is on the 31st, how does that work in months that don't have the 31st day?
For months that don't have a specific date, the billing date will be moved forward to the latest available date. So if your billing date is on the 31st, you will receive the bill on February 28th, (or 29th if available), April 30th, and so on.
The credit card expired so the payment was delayed for 3 days, how does this affect our subscription?
We know credit card issues happen. HackMD will notify you to update the credit card in the grace period and still charge the same amount of fee as of the original billing date.
The billing cycle will NOT change. So if the original billing date missed was on the 8th and the billing succeeds on the 11th, the next billing day will still be on the 8th of the next month.
There is a limit to the number of automatic payment attempts by the Stripe system. If you have already manually updated your payment information but are still unable to resume your subscription, please contact customer support at support@hackmd.io.
I don't need the Prime Team anymore, what happens when I cancel the subscription?
You can cancel the subscription anytime. The plan will remain effective for the rest of the period
If you change your mind and subscribe again, there will be no extra charges. Early cancellation of subscription will NOT be refunded.
The price of the Prime Team starts at US$10, which includes 4 team members, up to 8 invitees per notes, and private permanent image storage. Adding each additional team member adds US$5.

Click the team's gear icon to enter the team payment page, and click the delete icon to the right of the user you want to delete.
On the team billing page, in the "Subscription plan" block, there's a link to Change plan, where you can cancel your subscription.
