You can hide Comments that disrupt normal discussions, or Resolve comments that have already been resolved.
Sometimes we leave comments to point out a typo, suggest a better phrase, or add a new perspective to the text. These comments are like scaffolding on a text that is expected to be removed once the text leaves the draft stage and faces a wider readership.
For these scaffolding edits, suggesting edits is a better choice than comments.

Hiding comments allows users to minimize comments that are not relevant or have been resolved.
Hiding a comment does not completely remove it from the comment panel to maintain transparency and accountability in the editing and discussion process.

Allows users to unhide previously hidden comments.
Mark a comment as resolved, which is essentially a shortcut for hiding a comment with the reason "Resolved".

Use in conjunction with pinning comments that need attention. Delegate or get back to the "to-do comments" later. Once resolved, mark the comment as such.

Reverts a resolved comment back to its original state.
