「你說想做自己的遊戲？先別說這個了，你聽過 Game Jam 嗎？」

Game Jam=極短期+即興+遊戲開發，根據主題在短時間內做出一款遊戲，我們可以享受歡樂的創作氛圍、體驗與不同背景的人合作、嘗試遊戲的各種可能性，最後獲得跟夥伴一起開發的遊戲！

世界最大的 Global Game Jam 最多曾有 118 個國家、 48753 位參加者，是越來越多人參與的遊戲開發活動。在台灣的我們，一年也有 3 ～ 4 場 Game Jam 可以參加，你說你怎麼都不知道，因為你還沒來聽啊～！

想知道內容是什麼嗎？想知道該準備什麼嗎？想知道哪裡參加的到嗎？身為參加過 30+ 次的 game jammer，讓我來跟大家介紹一下吧～

目標對象：想知道更多 Game Jam 介紹、內容、流程的人；有興趣想參加 Game Jam 但又有點怕怕的人；參加過幾次但想知道哪有更多 Game Jam 的人；覺得工作很累想充電的遊戲開發者。

  • 大多都是一個人獨力完成的遊戲

何謂 Game Jam

  • 遊戲 + 即興創作 = Game Jam
  • 組成要素(規則)：
    • 針對主題：大多 GJ 有限定主題
    • 限定時間：GJ 大多有限定時間
    • 團隊合作：組隊開發
      • 5 ~ 7 人
      • 自行組隊 or 主辦隨機分配

範例：Global Game Jam 2023

時間表：2/3-2/5 (五-日)

  • 第一天 19:00 開幕
  • 第二天 11:00 概念發表
  • 第二天 20:00 中途版本發表
  • 第三天 15:00 開始上傳
  • 第三天 16:00 最終作品發表

為何要參加 Game Jam?

  • 享受歡樂的製作遊戲氛圍
    • 通常沒有獎品也沒有名次
    • 更歡樂、可以更大膽嘗試各種主意
  • 學習與各種背景的人合作
    • 也有些人甚至不是遊戲業、新手
    • 學生、業界人士 etc.
  • 建立人脈網路、認識同好
    認識老手，可以交流手上專案流程
  • 累積作品量
  • 嘗試新技術、新職業
    • 見識到平常沒使用過的技術或作法
    • e.g. 工作時以程式為主，但 game jam 時也能報個美術
  • 交流各自的開發方法
  • 練習引導、帶領團隊
    • 只要有一點資歷、或者夠主動，就有機會帶領團隊

Game Jam 生存指南(經驗分享)

  • 沒經驗的人可以參加嗎？當然可以！
    • Game Jam 不設置條件
    • 有想法就可以去參加，不必拘泥於是否會寫程式
  • 需要的角色有哪些？
    • 企劃、美術、程式、音效
    • 根據個人經驗分配組別：主辦方配對會儘量保持各組經驗均衡
