A network operations center, or NOC (pronounced "knock"), is a central location from which network administrators manage, control and monitor one or more networks. The overall function is to maintain optimal network operations across a variety of platforms, mediums and communications channels.

Inspiration for the digital model came from pictures of the AT&T global operations center, one of the biggest control rooms in the world.

The virtual NOC project began in the fall of 2017, some months after testing remote desktops in VR using the deskcloud stack.

This is what it looks like after it was 3d modeled by [firefoxg](https://hunterfox.info) and imported into native JanusVR:

All of the screens worked great in janusweb as well, a total of 37 in the entire room! Here's a look of the webgl browser based version of the NOC.
