# NFTCD Discord Channel Expansion ###### tags: `Documentors` `NFTCD` `Channel Expansion` ## Problem * Not all NFT projects have exposure to their own audience/community especially at the start. Building community is often the most challenging aspect of creating an NFT project or gaining followers * All NFT projects do not need their own discord server. Often people follow many different servers amd are unable to pay attention to all of them. ## Solution NFTCD has room within its Discord server to allow artists or projects to run their own channel on the server. This will enable the NFTCD to become an NFT social hub where "community" can be shared. As a project develops its own community, and may eventually outgrow the "community seed" server. At which time NFTCD will aide in the transition. This should aide with artist in growing their community with the added benefit of having access to other artists' communities that is usually not as possiblw with individual servers. Also being that every artist will be a member of the DAO, the internal DAO bounty system can be activated to enlist help in different areas from other members of the DAO. There will be an internal economy using the Prot token, a project may stake Prot tokens in order to prioritize work on their projects. ## How to get a Channel In some cases, channels already exist, they are following announcements from other servers. First off it would be fair to require any project or artist become a member of NFTCD. Details for this can be worked out seperately but I think that should be a hard rule. If a project were to receive a channel, project will be given control of their own channel through the role system. An owner can moderate the channel as they see fit as long as it is congruent with NFTCD. ## Update on This: Set this up for the **Solana Lemons** Project in order to work out the flow for creating a channel for an artist. Here is the flow (amongst a few other quick changes that don't really matter). * Created new Channel "Solana Lemons" * Created new Role "Solana Lemons Mod" * Gave role permission over everything, on the channel only. * Added role to channel * Created Role - Lemonheads * Created Channel "Boat Launch - Start Here" * In dynobot dashboard>modules>Reaction Role Module>settings * Create a New Message * Added a new message *added* The Lemon Emoji, Lemonheads, Sergio Clemone * Added new reaction :lemon: linked it to Lemonheads Role **NOTE** All that would need to be done now is change the channel to only be viewed by people that have selected the lemon role. Reluctant to do so now as not to limit exposure to the channel.
