Spelunky 2 All Achievements Guide

Setup

This setup will reset your save file and (optionally) lock all Steam achievements. This is necessary to run the category.

(Optional) Back up your save file

1. In Steam, right-click Spelunky and select Manage > Browse Local Files.
2. Copy your savegame.sav file somewhere else.

Reset Your Save Data

In the main menu, go to Options > Data Management > Reset All Save Data. Select Reset.

Reset Your Achievements/Feats

You can list timestamps if you prefer, or reset your achievements/feats before the run.

You must close the game between runs to reset achievements. If you reset while the game is running, some achievements won't unlock.

In the video, remember to show your (lack of) achievements before the run.

On Console

You have to make a new account. There's no way to reset achievements for an account on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch.

Via Steam

1. Press ⊞ Win+R to open the Run window.
2. Enter steam://open/console and click OK.
3. In Steam, you should now be in the Console tab
4. Near the bottom, there's a single-line text box. Enter reset_all_stats 418530 and press return.
5. You should see:

​​] reset_all_stats 418530
​​reset_all_stats success for appid 418530

Using Steam Achievement Manager

Steam Achievement Manager is a popular unofficial tool.

1. Download the latest release of Steam Achievement Manager. You only need the SteamAchievementManager-X.Y.Z.zip file (X.Y.Z will depend on the version).
2. Unzip it somewhere.
3. Run SAM.Picker.exe.
4. Find and double-click Spelunky 2.
5. Click the 🔒 icon to lock all achievements.
6. Click Commit Changes to save your changes.

(Optional) LiveSplit

You can use LiveSplit to display a time that ignores loading.

You can use this splits file for quicker setup. Remember to Edit Splits and Activate the autosplitter.

The autosplitter doesn't support achievement splits. You will need to stop or record the time yourself.

(Optional) s2Tracker (Journal Tracker)

You can use s2tracker to keep track of which journal entries you've unlocked.

Checking Achievements/Feats

There are two ways to show the status of your achievements/feats:

• In the main menu, select Player Profile and press right, or
• Open the journal and select Feats
  • This requires completing the tutorial

Confirming Achievements/Feats

With Reset

In the video, show achievements/feats after the run.

With Timestamps

To verify achievements via timestamps, you must list the times of each of these achievements:

• You Got This
• Speedlunky
• Low Scorer
• Excavator
• Survivor
• Millionaire
• Seen It All
• Mama’s Big Helper
• Track Star
• Arena Champion
• Support a Local Business
• VIP
