Spelunky 2 All Achievements Guide

Setup

:warning: This setup will reset your save file and (optionally) lock all Steam achievements. This is necessary to run the category.

In the main menu, go to Options > Data Management > Reset All Save Data. Select Reset.

You can list timestamps if you prefer, or reset your achievements/feats before the run.

:warning: You must close the game between runs to reset achievements. If you reset while the game is running, some achievements won't unlock.

You have to make a new account. There's no way to reset achievements for an account on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch.

Press ⊞ Win+R to open the Run window.
Enter steam://open/console and click OK.
In Steam, you should now be in the Console tab
Near the bottom, there's a single-line text box. Enter reset_all_stats 418530 and press return.
You should see:

reset_all_stats success for appid 418530

Download the latest release of Steam Achievement Manager. You only need the SteamAchievementManager-X.Y.Z.zip file (X.Y.Z will depend on the version).
Unzip it somewhere.
Run SAM.Picker.exe.
Find and double-click Spelunky 2.
Click the 🔒 icon to lock all achievements.
Click Commit Changes to save your changes.

You can use LiveSplit to display a time that ignores loading.

You can use this splits file for quicker setup. Remember to Edit Splits and Activate the autosplitter.

:warning: The autosplitter doesn't support achievement splits. You will need to stop or record the time yourself.

You can use s2tracker to keep track of which journal entries you've unlocked.
