    # The Truth About Agile - Melissa Boggs [中] 前ScrumAlliance的CEO 從一個故事開始講起 美國的一個學校 1. 教室裡面有分成幾個scrum teams 1. 準備了自己的待辦清單 1. 同步各團隊的訊息 1. 15歲的ScrumMaster, 做為敏捷教練,看到這畫面很高興 > A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimension 大家在學習敏捷可能會有一樣的感受 敏捷的金鑰是什麼呢? 我們常常只是把專案工具換成敏捷工具,但 > 思維方式沒有改變 今天的講題把敏捷的思維工具運用到工作中 回到敏捷運動的起源 The Agile Movement Origin Story 不是要反對瀑布式,但是知識型工作不適合用瀑布式,如果是重複性的工作才適合用瀑布式 製造業的方式不適合知識型工作 > 我們要反抗:那些瘋狂的人,我們無法忽視他,他們是變革者 我們使用agile這個字,在90年代之後有指數型的上升 ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/H1jIOhxDK.png) Justin Trudeau - 我們世界變動的速度超級快,而且趨勢是指數型的,再也不會(慢)回去了 所以我們要想 > 如何應對生活中的這些快速變化,我覺得敏捷是個好方法 ## Agile vs agile 我們有時沒有看到敏捷的核心定義! Agile:story points, sprints, demo, TDD,backlog.... agile:快速迭代、交付出高品質的價值 敏捷的要義在於主動性,真正的擁抱未來,快速便捷的行動 框架很有用,但前提是,你要清楚了解公司的狀況,才知道要用什麼框架 ## Agile Principles ### Principle 1 - Customer Satisfaction 造過持續早期地發佈有價值的軟體 ### Principle 2 - Embrace Change 確認真的能滿足客戶的需求,不是要滿足自己的情緒主張(開發久了,自己對產品有感情而不願意改變) 即使在開發的後期也擁抱變化,對客戶競爭力也會受益 ### Principle 3 - Deliver Value 二十年前,要2~3年才能發佈一個軟體,大家還要去商店買CD回家才能安裝 對客戶來說,等3年,安裝軟體後才發現這沒有解決他的問題,他會很失望... 現在透過持續部署,可以解決這個問題.但很多人還是沒有持續去聽客戶的反饋 ### Principle 4 - One Team 商務客戶跟開發者必需每天一起工作 * 為了解決溝通問題 * 持續收到反饋 * 客戶才不會在收到產品時過於驚訝 ### Principle 5 - Bidirectional Trust * 讓大家凝聚在同個團隊,做到信任及支持 * 需要大量來自領導層面的信任 * 領導者<->團隊 互相信任, 信任領導者能做出好的高層級決策, 信任團隊有好的技術力 ### Principle 6 - Human Contact * 面對面的對話-最高效的訊息傳達方式 * 過去二年(Covid-19),很難面對面 * 20年前,沒有zoom,slack, * 我更願意親自面對面的講課 * 不要以為有專案管理工具,溝通工具就可以替代面對面溝通 ### Principle 7 - Demonstrable Value * Working Software 是專案進度的重要評估點 * 如果不能給客戶,或不能幫客戶解決問題,這個產品就是沒有意義的 ### Principle 8 - Sustainable Pace * 穩健一致的腳步 * Scrum有時會讓開發者無法休息,沒有時間去創新,這樣是不對的 * 保持良好的節奏,對客戶及團隊的長期發展是有好處的 * 你的"節奏"不能讓大家的力量消耗殆盡 ### Principle 9 - Craft Excellence * Continous attention to technical excellence and good design enhances agility * 要做好設計及技術 * 將 Scrum 融入到工作流程當中 ### Principle 10 - Ruthless Prioritization * 簡潔 - 確認你是不是真的需要那麼多東西 * 做為PO,說"不"是一件很重要的事情 * 有時你覺得需要的,不是客戶需要的 ### Principle 11 - Self Organization * 跨部門跨職能的團隊 * 能夠產生非常驚人的想法,因為團隊成員是很聰明的 * 提供很棒的環境給他們! * 主管需要提供各種需要的資訊,並讓團隊之間可以互相交談,也讓團隊知道你們可以自組織的工作 ### Principle 12 - Inspect. Adapt. * Regular interval * 是不是相處愉快,下個sprint如何做的更好 * 就像產品一樣,團隊也要不斷改對 ## PEOPLE FIRST 以人為本,以人為先 * 為了追求更好的組織,不只是為敏捷而敏捷 * 為公司創收 * 讓客戶滿意 * 可以避免在事後再用很昂貴的代價來處理問題 * 敏捷現在已不只是用於IT行業 * 這是所有商業組織都需要的 > Ed Catmull, Pixar * 保持好奇心 * 不要輕易下結論 * 保持同理心,同情心 * 持續學習 ## The "Truth" * 簽署敏捷宣言時,他們知道這是一條困難的道路 ## Hope Leia Organa * 那群學生只是想把事情做好 * 學到了很多技巧 # Q&A - There's a perception that Agile methodology only works for IT projects. As a Project Manager who mostly deals with process improvement and transformation, how can we practically apply Agile methodology to these types of projects esp. when the organization is not familiar with it? - what agile principle for the world out of software development, like hardware manufacturer, transactional business etc.? - 所有的敏捷原則都適用於各行各業於各行各業 - 他就是針對複雜性的框架 - AgileQuestion.com
