    # How to Create App Videos ###### tags: `how-to` --- robots: noindex, nofollow --- **iOS Video Requirements:** * Minimum length of 15 seconds * Maximum length of 30 seconds * Length estimate for 30 seconds is 60-80 words * 500 MB file size * Accepted formats: H.264 and ProRes 422 (HQ only) * Supported extensions: mov, m4v (H.264 only), mp4 (H.264 only) **Other Notes:** * Most people only watch 5s of video. That's about 10 words. * So a strong message is needed straight off! * Auto-mute is on, so any messaging needs to work w/o audio [Full specs, including resolution](https://help.apple.com/app-store-connect/#/dev4e413fcb8). ## QR Tool Short Video (30 seconds: Apple) QR codes can store sensitive information; QR Tool protects them. Store your cryptocurrency seeds. Shard your cryptocurrency seeds, and ask friends and family to store the shares. Store your 2FA seed so that you can regenerate it on a new phone. QR Tool uses your keychain, your phone's secure vault, and encrypted data on iCloud, to ensure no one sees your sensitive QRs but you. ## QR Tool Longer Video (3-5 minutes: YouTube) Increasingly, QR Codes are being used to transmit sensitive data. For instance, Two-Factor Authentication seeds are one of the most common uses for QRs that you should be careful with. You read a QR Code containing a 2FA seed off of a web site into an authenticator, which then generates codes that you use whenever you want to log into that site. But what if you lose your phone? Your authentication codes are gone too! QR Tool allows you to securely store the original QR Code, so that you can regenerate your authentication whenever you need to. Cryptocurrency data is the next great frontier for QR Codes. For a while, cryptocurrency addresses have been transmitted as QRs, to translate the complex alphanumeric codes into simple, error-detecting graphics. But today, cryptographic seeds and private keys are also being stored as QRs. This is primarily thanks to the rise of airgapped technologies. It's dangerous to keep cryptographic keys on fully networked devices, because they can easily be stolen. But if you keep your master seeds or keys in a closely held device such as a phone, they're much safer. QR Tool allows you to do so by translating those master seeds or keys into QR codes. Blockchain Commons' SSKR specification offers another powerful use case for QR Codes. SSKR stands for Sharded Secret Key Reconstrustion, which is a cryptographic Process that allows you to shard a seed, into many shares, and then transmit those shares to different people, such as family, friends or collegues. This gives you a recovery mechanism if you ever lose your master seed or key. As long as you can recover a quorum of shards that you gave out, you can reconstruct the original seed and key. But how do your friends and family store your shares? In the old days they would have copied down a dozen words and stuck them in a book. Now, QR Tool takes care of that for them. You give them a QR that they store in QR Tool, and your shares should always be available. For years people have been using a low-tech alternative to store QRs of this type: they photograph them and store them on their camera roll. The problem is, that's not secure. QR Tool is built on security. QR Tool stores your codes in the secure vault on your phone and also uploads a copy to iCloud. It ensures the security of iCloud by encrypting the data using a key on your local keychain. As long as you share your keychain data to your apple.com account, you can then retrieve that data from your next iPhone, even after you lose this one. So it's secure and resilient! (It's also a lot easier to search through your QRs when they're labeled and categorized by QR Tool, and not mixed in with the photographs of your last trip to Aruba.) QR codes can store sensitive information; QR Tool protects them. QR Tool is a reference application designed by Blockchain Commons. It ensures the independence, privacy, resilience, and openness of your Bitcoin usage, so that you're the controller of your cryptocurrency destiny. ## Seed Tool Short Video (30 seconds: Apple) Gordian Seedtool secures cryptographic seeds. It uses the power of Airgaps: seeds on fully networked devices are insecure. Keeping them on your phone improves your security, and you can transmit HD Keys as QR codes when needed. Goardian Seedtool can import seeds, generate seeds, and most importantly store them. Using your keychain, your phone's secure vault, and iCloud encryption, Gordian Seedtool ensures that no one but you sees your seeds. ## Seed Tool Longer Video (3-5 minutes: YouTube) Seeds are the keys to cryptocurrencies. In the modern day, they're the heart of HD wallets. They need to be securely generated and securely stored. Gordian Seed Tool does it all for you. How do you generate seeds securely? Generating seeds requires sufficient entropy. Gordian Seed Tool lets you flip coins, roll dice, or draw cards until you have enough randomness. Or, if you prefer you can import a seed from elsewhere or generate one using your phone's internal randomizers. How do you store seeds securely? Gordian Seed Tool takes advantage of all of the security built into the Apple iPhone. Your seeds are stored encrypted by keys in your phone's Secure Enclave, and are optionally synced to iCloud using Apple's encryption. Your seeds can only be accessed with two-factor authentication, usually requiring your device passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. But, there's more to security than that: you also want to be able to easily recognize keys, so that you always know which one you're using. Gordian Seed Tool depicts its keys in a trio of manners: as a seven-character hex prefix; as a unique name; and as a Lifehash graphic. For the first time ever, you can recognize a seed at a glance. How do you use stored keys? Gordian Seed Tool is built to be used with Gordian Cosigner, so that you can export PSBTs from your networked device, sign them on your phone with an HD key, then send them back. This ensures that your keys never touch the wired network. You can also export your seeds using a variety of formats, from hex to the Uniform Resource interoperability specification. What does the name Gordian mean? Gordian is Blockchain Commons' mark for a series of principles, best practices, and reference applications that support the independent, private, resilient, and open use of cryptocurrency wallets. Gordian Seed Tool gives you indpendence by allowing you to control your own seed material, gives you privacy by storing it on your closely held device, gives you resilience by creating secure backups of your data, and provides openness by communicating with URs and QRs. Blockchain Commons worries about your Bitcoin's security, so that you don't have to.
