### Welcome to the Team Rocket Quest Walkthrough
In here you will find everything that is needed to complete each step of the quests. Whether you want to help Team Rocket or turn them in to the Cops.

This walkthrough will be broken up into 3 parts. The first being set in Cerulean City, followed by Celadon City, and lastly Pinkan Island.

### Part One: Cerulean City
If you wait until after defeating Misty, then when doing the quests, you can tell the police officer about the crime before you do it. The quest will be counted as failed, but you will gain karma.

==Make sure you take the Team Rocket Uniform off when you talk to the Officer==

==You will find the Officer to the left of the South entrance==

#### Starting the Quest
To start the quests, join Team Rocket by saying yes to the Nugget Bridge recruit. If you say no, you can talk to him again as long as you haven't finished gym 8 and haven't talked to the Goldenrod Rocket group.

==If you say yes to joining you will lose 5 karma==

==If you say no to joining you will gain 5 karma==

You then go to the Rocket Hideout in Cerulean (house in the top right corner) and talk with Captain Petrel in the basement. This is where you will receive and turn in quests for Part One.

#### Quest 1 - Creepy Crawlies
They will give you the first quest “Creepy Crawlies” which has you clearing out 4 Wimpods from the basement. This is done by cornering them and starting a battle where you can either defeat or catch them. It's recommended to play at normal speed.

==After completing the quest a Wimpod will spawn once a day at the top right sewer pipe.==

#### Quest 2 - No Fishing Zone
After which you tell Petrel your name. You will be given the option to either give them your real name or a fake name. This has no real impact and is purely for roleplay.

After giving them a name, they will send you on the second quest “No Fishing Zone” which has you intimidating the fisherman at the Nugget Bridge.

If you decide you want to turn Team Rocket in. This is the point in which you will tell the officer. You will lose any of the reward from Petrel, but gain 10 karma.

You can find them on the north side of the bridge, to the left. Once found interact with them repeatedly until a double battle starts. There teams consist of a Lv.14 Psyduck/Meowth, and a Lv.14 Poliwhirl/Jigglypuff


You then go back and talk with Petrel in the Cerulean hideout. They will give you 8,000$ And you can get the third quest.

#### Quest 3 - Disobedient Pokemon
The next quest is called “Disobedient Pokemon” which has you faint a lv 20 Azurill/Zubat, which is given to you.

If you decide you want to turn Team Rocket in. This is the point in which you will tell the officer. You will lose any of the reward from Petrel, but gain 10 Karma.

Once it faints, return to Petrel. And they will reward you with 4,000$ and you will keep the Azurill/Zubat (you will be made the OT of it)

#### Quest 4 - Gran Theft Pokemon
==After completing these first 3 quests, you will need to beat Misty and get your second badge, if you havent already.==

Talk to Petrel in the hideout and they will give the fourth quest “Gran Theft Pokemon”. This quest has you steal an Electrode/Slowbro from the young girl in the south part of Cerulean.

After receiving the quest, talk to Petrel in the alley next to the flower garden to the right of the Cerulean Pokemart. They will tell you to get a disguise, to do this you will need to buy the “Blue School Dress” from the clothes shop and the “Puffy Pigtails” from the hairdresser.


Once both of these have been purchased, put them on and talk to Petrel. They will then distract the young girl, while that is happening interact with the pokemon, and take a step. After you repeat this 4 times, the girl will turn around and start a battle with you. Her team will be a Lv.20 Electrode/Slowbro. After the battle Petrel will take the pokemon, but then gets arrested.

==Petrel will get arrested whether or not you told the officer, but you will only get the karma if you told.==

That is the end of Part One, you will now need to go to Celadon and find Captain Archer.

### Part Two: Celadon City
Once you have completed the normal Celadon sewers events, and have picked up the lift key from the back room. You can start Part 2.

==In this part there will not be an officer that you can report to.==

Go back down to the Sewers. If you use the Man-Hole entrance to the right of the Game Corner, it'll take you straight to the Team Rocket Base Entrance. Go through the door on the right and you’ll see an elevator to the left.


==Make sure to put your uniform on before going in.==

Enter the elevator and go to BF2, this will take you to the Celadon Team Rocket Hideout. This will be the main base for part 2.


#### Quest 1 - Supplying the New Grunts
The first quest for this part is “Supplying the New Grunts” which will have you catch 4 pokemon with Rocket Balls on Route 7, you will be given 20 Rocket Balls for this. The starting payout for this is 15,000$

==The Pokemon that you give to the Captain need to be Lv. 20 or higher.==

It is recommended to save before you start to hunt for the pokemon, so that you can reload if you run low or out of Rocket Balls.

After catching the 4 Pokemons, give them to the Captain for your reward.

If you do run out of Rocket Balls, you can get more from the Captain. It will cost you 2,000$ for 10 Rocket Balls. The 2,000$ will be taken out of your quest payout, if you manage to spend all of it the quest will be counted as failed. You will still be able to continue.

#### Quest 2 - Interception
Now for the second quest “Interception” for this quest you will need to steal a shipment of tms, and pose as a delivery person to take fake tms to the Celadon Dept. Store.

==You will be given TM00 Counterfeit, by the Captain before you leave. This TM does nothing.==


To intercept the shipment, head to the underground passage on Route 7. Once there you will meet with 2 other Rocket grunts, your goal will be to block the delivery man's path. It is recommended to play at normal speed for this.

If the delivery man makes it to the end, you will be given the option to retry. There is no penalty for retrying. Though if you select no to retrying, the quest will be counted as failed.

After you block his path, interact with him to start a battle. His team will consist of a Lv.27 Pidgeotto and a Lv.32 Honedge/Delibird, After winning the other grunts will take the real tms, and you will be given the delivery man's hat.

Put the hat on and head to the Celadon Dept. Store, once there you will be put into a cut scene. You will then give the store employee the fake tms. Head back to the Captain, and receive your reward of 10,000$. And you will be able to choose 1 of the stolen tms to keep, your choices will be Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, or Flamethrower.

==By giving the fake TMs you lose 5 karma==

#### Quest 3 - Pokemon Collector
After receiving your reward, you can talk with the captain for the third quest, “Pokemon Collector”. For this quest, you will need to meet with a Pokemon collector on route 22.
He will be behind the bushes, near the League Entrance.


When you talk to him, he will show the rare pokemon that you will be receiving. He will then ask you 4 questions. The answers to these will be “A Large Beast”, “Water-Type”, “Near Cerulean City”, “At Dawn”. If you answer any of these wrong, the collector will send to get info at various locations.

After getting the Scraggy, a grunt will show up, and tell you to go to the Celadon Cafe backroom. This room will only be open at night, 8pm-5am.

==This is also where you can find the black market, where you can buy pokemon, when you aren't doing quests.==

==When you're questioned use these answers "yes", "report crime", "yes", and "no". You will gain 5 karma.==

When you walk into the cafe, you will be stopped by a police officer. He will ask you 4 questions, the answer to these will be “yes”, “deny”, “no”, “yes”. You then will need to go talk with the Captain. The reward for this quest will be the Scraggy. This will be the end of Part 2.

==If you decided to help Team Rocket and lie to the officer in the last quest will lose you 9 karma.==

### Part Three: Pinkan Island

==While leaving the Celadon base, you will see the police storming in, and be given the optional quest “Undercover Police Work”.==

At this point you will need to complete the Silph Co. events, if you havent already. This will give you access to the train that takes you to Goldenrod.
