# Ideas for the EMBARK Summer Meeting

## Meeting structure

**DAY 1**

8:30 - 3x 15-minute lab presentations

10:00 - 3x 15-minute lab presentations

11:00 - Subgroup presentation of SOPs on Sampling
- Suggested responsible for presentation

11:30 - Subgroup presentation of SOPs on Bioinformatics (except novel ARGs)
- Suggested responsible for presentation

**DAY 2**

8:30 - Summary/Discussion of where we are and where to go next (papers, WP goals etc.)
Per WP ~15 min each:
- WP1: Establish a robust protocol for high-throughput AMR monitoring
- WP2: Reanalyzing previous and upcoming public data to establish an ARG baseline
- WP3: Generating new datasets for understudied key environments for monitoring
- WP4: Employing data mining to detect emerging resistance threats

Quick reminder on future WPs

- *upcoming WP6: Integrating data to create a cost-effective monitoring framework*

- or everyone prepares slides and we shuffel them ourselfs

- **Gif game** each of us will anonymously add GIFs (or pictures) that represent who we are, in categories (e.g. A music artist I like), and then, when we get together over Zoom, we are going to guess which GIFs belong to each of us.
