Timeline

  • Survey goes live no later than midnight June 3 UTC
  • Survey lasts for 48-72 hours and closes no later than end of day June 5 UTC
  • @inplco will churn the analysis out before end of day June 6 UTC
  • @inplco will setup an IPFS front-end for the survey results

Survey should be:

  • Strictly Quantitative
  • No more than 10 mins average duration

Properties that the survey should target are

  • Questions on Working Groups Structure (as laid out in EP4)
  • Questions on base-level feedback on – Efficiency, Emissions (deliverables) & Effectiveness – of 4 Working Groups (combined/overall)
  • Questions on performance of individual Working Groups – Meta-Governance (all things Governance-related), Ecosystem (Protocol related), Community (Community & onbaording related) and Public Goods (?)
  • Questions on perception – Efficiency, Emissions (deliverables) & Effectiveness – of Stewards within each working group
  • Sample Popularity vs Utility of Stewards
  • Questions on Onboarding
  • Questions on Retention
  • Questions on Offboarding
  • Questions on Funding Process for third-party organisations
    for example,
    a) Feedback on amount disbursed (if possible)
    b) Feedback on proposal process (if possible)
    c) Feedback on accountability measures toward grantees (if possible)
  • Questions on Compensation for Internal Contributors within 4 Working Groups
  • Questions on Expectations at start of Term 1 (Q1-2) vs Perception now at end of Term 1

Efficiency : Being able to manage their time and duties during the term

Emissions : Being able able to deliver on the promises made before/during elections

Effectiveness : Being able to meaningfully affect and progress the functioning of a Working Group

The survey shouldbe fairly general and target the fundamentals that are minimally necessary.
