  • Date: 10/1/22 Auqib Iraklis
  • Updates:
    • Demo in Nitro with KMS: symmetric key encrypted data, command line
  • Next steps:
    • Explore more the KMS: who has full access on it, when binding a Nitro instance with a kms key the party who does the binding (Parfin), does it have full access to the key?
    • Make the demo more production ready: From command line to an executable being able to be called from code and pass data streams to be encrypted inside Nitro, Nitro decrypts, runs some code snippet and returns the result to the parent node.
    • Can we explore PKI and Nitro: Nitro has \(\mathsf{sk}\) (secret key ) of a public key encryption scheme (e.g: RSA) and parent node sends data encrypted with Nitro public key \(\mathsf{pk}\)?
