Release-8 is being looked into by Amar. Needs a track for the good health of any product. Gluster -8 by march end.
giving 15+ days more it should be made available in April
Focus on things we already know. so it will help with gluster10.
people need to step forward with what can be delivered in next 2 months
21st Jan 11:30am ist, a meeting with other zone people to confirm the target for gluster 8. Contributors have to decide on what they can deliver before this.
Potential candidates:
1)Structured logging is being worked on.
2)More of python2 to 3 issues are also being worked.
3)being debug friendly.
Update to fedora 31 releases by 21st
Kadalu is interested in monitoring. might look into a webinar
Rinku, a video to explain gluster with container will be more helpful
Aravinda, move to long term release cycle. so we will have lesser versions to maintain.
Amar, May be do it after release 8. We will have to start a mail thread and discuss this out for the next coming release.
