本巢位共孵化2隻幼鷹(大福 5/18破殼，小福5/19破殼) ，孵化影片可至林試所-幸福森活FB貼文觀看。小福於 5/28 確認死亡(推測挨餓+下雨失溫)，巢中幼鷹僅剩大福1隻。

有同時觀看大安及台北植物園育雛直播的觀眾應該有發現，兩個巢位的巢材差異非常大。大安巢位以樹枝為主；植物園巢位除樹枝外，親鳥時常會帶回各種樹葉作為巢材鋪在巢底。相信有人很好奇出現在巢內的植物到底是什麼？已有部分樹葉經林試所小編辨別出來，各種植物介紹如下:

植物園巢第一次作影像紀錄，我們之前也沒有看到這巢的狀況，但在植物園是近四年都有繁殖紀錄，​是我們第一次觀察這樣的過程喔！ 之前都是人站在外面觀察，當然也是有一巢裡最後只有一隻小鳥長大，但不能很明白是2隻幼雛最後剩1隻或是本來就只有1顆蛋，整個團隊其實很猶豫要不要開播…大安是真的很順利，怕大家會承受不住（小編本人也不知道能不能受的住）
這兩隻破殼差一天，吃東西的狀況明顯不同，大福比較積極，小福比較弱。

    聊天室觀眾一起取的暱稱。最早是大小植(因在植物園)，後來因為大福食慾很好，改名為大衛(胃)；最後因"能吃就是福"及"祈福意味"(小福當時狀況不佳)，改名為大小福。原本只是帶有祝福的暱稱，但後來官方也用了XD

    第一年的小鳳頭要靠羽色做性別辨識有相當的難度，通常會在上環時一併採DNA做性別檢驗。但因植物園巢位吊車跟人都上不去無法上環，僅能從他們體型相對大小來推測，可能到大福離巢都無法確定性別。
