We are still a Data Archive and continue the archival mission and collections of the Social Science Data Archive

Our mission is to foster a welcoming research community by developing foundational coding and data science skills through consulting and education.

We support researchers throughout the full data life cycle of activities: planning research projects and data management plans; data acquisition, storage, cleaning, and usage; analysis; publication; curation; and preservation.

NIH defines data science as:

the interdisciplinary field of inquiry in which quantitative and analytical approaches, processes, and systems are developed and used to extract knowledge and insights from increasingly large and/or complex sets of data.
