Always.** His passive skill "Stand Firm" reduces damage taken by **front-row units** by 17%. That means: - Murphy needs to BE in the front row to benefit from his own damage reduction - He's classified as a Defender (🛡️)—his entire kit is designed to absorb damage - Putting him in back wastes his tankiness and removes his self-buff **Correct:** Murphy front, Kimberly behind him so he tanks while she destroys. --- ### Why Kimberly over other damage dealers? Kimberly has the highest AoE burst damage in Tank squads, and her skills scale incredibly well with investment. She's the #1 carry for low-spend and F2P players because: - She's obtainable early (Day 1 for ~$5, or free at Day 61) - Her damage output outpaces other options at equal investment - UR shards on her give massive returns --- ### Do I really need to strip gear from benched heroes? Yes! Gear sitting on heroes you don't use is wasted resources. That M4-A armor on your level 1 Scarlett could be on Murphy right now making your squad stronger. Benched heroes don't need gear—Squad 1 does. --- ### When should I start caring about waterfall training? Not until around HQ 18+. Early game, just keep your barracks running and training your highest unlocked troop tier.
