# Dota 2 Player Term Sheet
## **Player Expectations**
- Playing
- Playing to your best ability in competitive games
- Respectful to everyones time during practice & any other type of team gathering
- Representing the org in a wholesome, professional manner
- Following the rules of any tournament that the player is participating in, and not to incur penalties *neph added this
- Social
- Changing profile picture, banners, or other media to represent Nouns Esports as requested
- Players are expected to be active on social media
- Minimum of 7 original tweets each week *change this to be engaged with the community in a different way - this is going to cause the players to post a picture of a fucking cat or some shit and not be engaged and will bring engagement percentages down
- Neph mentioned 100/week fine
- Neph mentioned having people active on their accounts
- Not including sharing your stream link, RTing, etc. *Reconsider retweeting or stream links being part of this requirement
- Also expected to RT or Quote Tweet Nouns content as requested by org contributors
- Every player will be expected to stream
- Outside of each season of DPC, e.g. over one week out before competitive matches. *nephupdate attach an hours required to this
- Players will be required to have Nouns Esports information in their about section of their stream, and non invasive Nouns Esports branding on their stream. Nouns Esports will work with the players to create these.
- Content & Community
- Attending content sessions or community events
- Directed by the team manager or organization contributors
- Expected as 3 per month
- Bootcamps or LAN's will have their own content schedule (expected 1-2 days of media work)
## **Org Expectations**
- Regular compensation
- 4000 USDC each month per player until next TI (expected 10-11 months)
- Bootcamp Support
- Three DPC Seasons + The International
- Bootcamps for other international events or qualifiers can be considered and financed via the Nouns Esports Pod budget
- Management Support
- Helping source a manager and offering them regular compensation
- Scrim support, social media, bootcamp & tournament logistics.
- Coach Support
- Helping source a coach and offering them regular compensation
- Sports Psychologist
- Nouns will make a best-effort to have a regular cadence of availability from a sports psychologist for the team
Winter Tour
• Open Qualifiers: December 11-13, 2022
• Closed Qualifiers: December 14-15, 2022
• Division 1 Regional League Tournament: January 9-29, 2023
• Division 2 Regional League Tournament: January 30 - February 19, 2023
• Major Tournament: February 24 - March 5, 2023
Spring Tour
• Open Qualifiers: March 13-15, 2023
• Closed Qualifiers: March 16-22, 2023
• Division 1 Regional League Tournament: March 13 - April 2, 2023
• Division 2 Regional League Tournament: April 3-23, 2023
• Major Tournament: April 28 - May 7, 2023
Summer Tour
• Open Qualifiers: May 15-17, 2023
• Closed Qualifiers: May 18-24, 2023
• Division 1 Regional League Tournament: May 15 - June 4, 2023
• Division 2 Regional League Tournament: June 5-25, 2023
• Major Tournament: June 30 – July 9, 2023
## **Earnings Split**
- Prizemoney
- All to the players, coach, and manager
- ~~7.5% for the manager and coach respectively~~ *Coach and manager will both get 5% respectively, and 18% to each player. This will be handled within the team. If players or manager/coach, or other contributers raise issue with this, we will contact the org to reexamine this later.

- Ingame Content~~
- Three-way split between team, content creators, and players - Team manager will organize the bundle and decide on a fair split between the players and contributors - currently at 10% for artists and the rest going to the players
- Additional brand partnerships that Nouns brings to the table
- Unique to each partnership
- E.g. Nouns Coffee
- Brand partnerships unique to each player
- All earnings to the player or their partners (e.g. agent)
- Assumed to be found by a player or their agent
- Nouns has a veto on external partnerships in to protect & prioritize our native-partners
- Reach out prior to working with another brand
- Twitch Bounties should generally be a-okay
- No betting sponsors...
- Want Nouns to feel like the title sponsor and for nouns-related brands to shine
- Not looking to prevent players from making $
## Misc
- Nouns will have secured all funds to carry this program throughout the upcoming Dota season
- Nouns will continue to sponsor this team through the season as long as they remain functional
- If the team wins an international event, we will try to get them all Nouns (pog).
- Kyle and Slacks are pitching an international tournament to Nouns, we would obviously get invited.
- *bootcamp food costs split between the org and players at a 70-30 split where nouns esports pays for 70% and the players pay 30%
- *nounsesports will provide appearal and other branded items for the players to keep
- *Please specify when nouns will pay the players salary, for example at the first or last day of every month
- *Nouns will pay for health benefits that will positively effect performance such as gym memberships. These will be approved on a case-by-case basis by the DotA Pod or esports pod
