There are a growing number of folks looking to share information across projects about how to handle various common technical community task.
We could use the cncf.ci WG/site to share common practices including identifying Github Actions that help manage Community Infrastructure.
The goal is to provide self-service Community Infrastructure for projects, governance as automation.
Ali Ok I lack history, but I wonder if folks like Robert Kielty reviewed this proposal.
cncf.ci may fit well under our the TAG-CS Current Roadmap:
- Possible future roadmap projects / If you see something here that interests you, join us and start it:
- Automation and self service for contributors, community GitOps
- And possibly under the project template but including GitHub Actions that assist with the automation of governance and Community Infra.
@Amye Scavarda Perrin hey, @hh would like to move the WG-CI effort under TAG-CS, because it dovetails with some of the tehnical efforts we are doing under TAG-CS. Is the next step just to start a discussion in TOC? - @joshberkus
Yes
At this point, that feels like an 'after kubecon' issue - @ayme
@jberkus recommended including Elekto eventually.
