1. GSoC update

   • two meeting this far, good progress
   • may be good to document the onboarding process (setting up dev env, pre-commit, linting…)

2. nsf-pose update

   • Wei and Taylor on the team, James may join
   • some onboarding docs could be a part of the proposal

3. sea-narsc 23 plans

   • workshop approved, not listed yet (@sjsrey & @knaaptime in the morning, @lanselin & @pedrovma in the afternoon)

4. Shapely 2 transition

   • all PRs merged, Pysal main is PyGEOS free
   • releases are needed
     • pointpats

     • momepy done

5. distutils deprecated

   • all packages depending on versioneer and direct import of distutils need to switch over to setuptools_scm

6. scipy summit report
