# Fund Initial Full-Time Team (Renewal)

## Proposal
A monthly budget of $42,501 USDC + 7,500 $KRAUSE to fund a set of full-time contributors. Budgets and responsibilities for each contributor are outlined below, and will be paid monthly, starting effective (in arrears) May 1st, 2022 after proposal passing. Contributors can be fired at any point by the DAO through proposal, at which point future payments will cease.
To receive payment, members of this team must retain 100% of their airdropped allocation of $KRAUSE balances for 2 years (as of Jan 1st, 2022) or until no longer being compensated as a full-time contributor.

## Compensation Structures
Each full-time contributor can decide between 2 compensation structures:
*Fixed*
Paid at an agreed upon salary amount in a stablecoin. The salary amount will be generally market rate. The full-time contributor cannot earn additional compensation by participating in projects within Krause House.
*Hybrid / Dynamic*
A base salary (50% of market) would be paid in a stablecoin. The full-time contributor would be able to participate in compensation within other projects that are approved by the community via Snapshot.
## Additional Details
Each of these contributors is required to hold their entire existing $KRAUSE balance in order to receive payment. Payments will be made monthly. In order to be eligible for the payment, the recipient's wallet address must still be holding the required amount of tokens to meet the obligation of 100% existing $KRAUSE tokens are being held. To be specific, “existing $KRAUSE” is defined as the quantity the team member received from the KH Community Airdrop allocation. To be extra clear, if the team member is earning $KRAUSE as part of their monthly compensation — those tokens_are not_ subjected to being locked. In the event a team member is removed from the team, their tokens are fully unlocked effective immediately.

- *Results*: Met — Pitched an NBA team for a minority position. Designed a legal structure for a NBA minority position. Developed, launched, & executed KH Accelerator. Negotiated a purchase of a Big3 team.

***System Development***
- Develop a process for who, what, when, & how weekly communications are delivered.
- *Results*: Met — This could be better, as Discord is a terrible platform to disseminate information to ticket holders. However, at weekly Townhalls ticket holders were kept up-to-date with latest information as well as via the KH DAO podcast.
- Accountability process for ensuring the communications are delivered.
- *Results*: Not Met — This was done ad hoc via the Townhalls and KH DAO Podcast.
- Develop a process for who, what, & how Season Kick-Offs are delivered.
- *Results*: Not Met — We veered away from tight Season’s, but this was not prioritized nor met.
- Accountability process for ensuring Season Kick-Offs are delivered.
- *Results*: Not Met — This was deprioritized during these 4 months, but weekly Townhalls were added to supplement communications.

*Goal*: Krause House’s legal strategy is well understood & executed where appropriate.
***System Development***
- Develop a process to determine who should be involved with legal discussions.
- *Results*: Met — A lawyer has been retained at the social DAO level. Samir has been put on a stream for our NBA minority ownership position. Dog & Lewwwk assisted with broader legal strategy for entity selection.
- Develop a process for communicating legal strategy, risk, & changes to the community.
- *Results*: Met — This was delivered weekly within the Townhalls.
- Develop a process to share knowledge from a legal team to relevant teams.
- *Results*: Met — This is incredibly challenging. Something we learned this season is that we have to be selective of how, when, & why we apply legal research to a particular problem. We implemented a process to request a legal budget for those situations.

***Goal*:** All financial obligations are managed & executed.
***System Development***
- Develop a process to track financial obligations & expenditures.
- *Results*: Met — Developed a Google Sheet tracking all transactions with context. Filled in monthly the Notion table that was developed in parallel. Also commissioned a financial planning prototype.
- Develop a system to provide error free payment handling.
- *Results*: Met — Used Utopia to track payments + hold the appropriate records and context for the transactions.
- Develop a process for accounting and/or tax obligations.
- *Results*: Met — We’re using Utopia to handle all contributor payments with metadata to better track our accounting records.

- *Goal*: Take care of anyone in a situation requiring a material cost to the DAO.

- Develop a process for escalated support issues touching NFTs, tokens, or lost ETH.
- *Results*: Met — Helped coordinate with folks who were owed a ticket.
- Develop a transparent & efficient process to resolve these issues in a satisfactory way for the DAO.

## Flex (Jan - April 22)

Summary:
Pitch front office and ownership on a minority ownership position in the NBA. Leveraged personal relationships to engage BIG3 founders, and ultimately acquire a team (Go Ball Hogs!). Co-Host of official Krause House DAO podcast to keep current and prospective community members informed. Established partnership operations and was the main POC for all inbound partner opportunities. Served as product liaison with lead engineer to research & design internal tools, NFT project (NBA player), and analytics platform.

- *Results*: Met — Regularly scheduled meetings and discord comms take place to define and adapt strategy for all product-related initiatives.
- Develop a process of researching, creating, and testing how each part of a sports team can be decentralized.
- *Results*: Met — The Decentralized Sports Operations (DSO) was established earlier this year and has produced a variety of research and documentation around the value proposition of leveraging distributed talent to help with team and player development, media, and fan engagement via economic membership.

- *Results*: Met — Conditionally met with means for improvement. Although we established a Partner Operations model which included email templates and a CRM, there still could be more structure around overall partner strategy.
- Develop a process to enable cross-DAO synergies with prominent or value-aligned DAOs
- *Results*: Met — In addition to regularly scheduled twitter spaces with prominent DAOs such as SeedClub, Cabin, etc. We are currently in-process of forming a Social DAO Token Alliance with the most prominent social communities in Web3 including Bankless, Forefront, Cabin, etc.
## Mario Lopes (Jan - April 22)
### Systems & Performance
Summary:
Devised Onboarding systems to onboard new KH members & contributors. Onboarded and coached new leaders in KH DAO. Evaluated DAO tooling products & suggested implementation options (ex. Utopia) that would make Krause House better than it was yesterday. General Steward duties - Calls, Proposal feedback, proposal discussions with Jerry's writing new submissions. Assisted with the development of KH Contributor Dashboard for KH members to organize project work. Managed the Community Discord. Recruited talent for key functions such as Education, Treasury Management & Event Planning to execute on key DAO deliverables. Recorded weeklyish newsletter & podcasts for Jerry’s Digest with community + project updates. Grew the KH network and serving as a connector for DAO members to foster collaborative opportunities. Developed a fan engagement product known as MyJerry for KH DAO & our partners use.

- *Results*: Met (contingent legal set up) – Worked with Kris + Magnus to bring forth a passive yield strategy on Bancor. Developed a KH product known as MyJerry that will be launched in S4 & will sell services to basketball partners.

- *Results*: Met – CRMs were developed to track, follow up, and close, inbound and outbound leads but was lightly used (NFT NYC + KH DAO). Partnerships team relied on old CRM habits and clear communication across teammates to manage partner relations. Looking to improve CRM habits and leverage this tool across partnerships team in Season 4.

- *Results*: Not met - Instagram. This was delegated. Met – A system was developed (Airtable) and passed onto to media teams to track Discord + Twitter communications. Note: the system was delegated and adjusted to meet future media team needs. Recruited strong media members such as Kitty, Brill & Bayesian.
