Introduction
I choose to ask those question to a young solo singer which name is Timothee de touzalin (16 years old). He is part from a chorale and perform in Europe while singing classic songs. the interview was in french and i translated it. i find it interesting to ask to a, maybie, future star in order to have a real objective point of view on the app.

Q1:We are bridging musicians and entertaining places,giving musicians a suitable place to perform and letting pubs/bars/restaurants have better performers.Have you been using this kind of APP before?
No and neither the chorale because usually it’s more association that contact us for a concert
Q2:What do you think of this APP?
It could be interesting if musicians and bar owner find a real common interest. In fact it can allow musicians or band little known to perform with a real public which is a real chance
Q3:What is your biggest concern when using this kind of service?
if i was a musician it would be to be sure that the bar expectations matches with mine. I mean singing classic song in a bar that loves this, be sure to have a public and be respected even if i’m not a superstar

Q5: Beside the its location/pay/audience/equipment, what other factors will affect your decision as a musician when choosing to perform in a pub/restaurant or somewhere else?
the feeling i got with the owner. indeed i want to be sure that he appreciates my work and will do anything to put me in perfect conditions to perform
Q6:Will you prefer to long term contract with a place or short time contract with a place? You will be a regular performer or a special performing guest on occassions.
i think a special performing guests as long as if i’m more and more known, my performance will become a very special occasions either for the bar and the public. moreover if my music is not appreciate as i thought it could be i won’t be a kind of ball and chain for the bar

i would be happy to see a photo of the manager of the bar with his contacts because with a photo you can have an idea of the personality of the guy

not at all it’s not my job but the app is beautiful and quite easy to use. just hope that the records system is ok

You are a bar owner loving rock and roll and known in the city for this. You want to invite musicians in order for your clients to have a real music experience. you discover the app what do you think about it?
Observations:
this could be a very good way to improve the services offered by my bar. but the only days that can really interested people are friday and saturday nights because during the week people come just for a beer not to listen to music
2nd instruction: (this is your second scenario):
You are a bar owner and have always the same client from your neighborhood and happy with this way of living.a good routine. You discover the app. would you be okay to open your bar to musicians performance?
Observations: also a good way to improve my services especially if my bar is just a “familial one”. but as i said and it might concern more this kind of bar, the only days available would be friday and saturday nights

Positive feedback: very interesting app that can give to a bar a second life and utility
Neutral feedback:

Negative feedback: hope to good artist. i would like to hear them before they play in my bar to be sure of their skills
Learning & insights:
From that, we’ve learn that a youtube link or soundclouds channel won’t be enough for bar owner to open their doors to musicians

Decisions & actions:
To iterate, we will set up meeting between a bar owner and musicians but also create kinds of contracts for future relationships

You are part from a very well known band and perform already in festival or private concert. would you be interested by using this app ?
Observations: i don’t think i will have the time with the band because we have already plenty of concert. nevertheless there is a bar that we love in which we could perform if he wants us but we plays rock and the bar has not a clear music identity so it won’t respect the app

2nd instruction: (this is your second scenario):
You are part from a band which just play once a week in the cellar of one the member of the group and don’t really think before to perform in a bar or any other place. but now you will. Will you trust this app and register to find the bar
Observations: in this situation i would have been really interested by the app cause it’s could be a perfect way to be more known by the public.

Positive feedback: a very well thought app that can be so helpful for musicians
Neutral feedback:

Negative feedback: not sure to find bars that love my music. and bars must find a music identity which is hard and can make them losing some clients that dislike it
Learning & insights:
From that, we’ve learn that there is a real work to do on bars as well

To iterate, we will give more informations to the musicians about the bars they choose
