    # 為何你需要立刻行動?延後行動隱藏的風險 ###### tags: `blog` 在突破自己的舒適圈,想要提昇自己時,我們總會有一堆看似合理,實際上卻不合理的理由。比如說想開始健身,但總覺得「這幾個月比較忙,忙完再去」。這看似合理,**你心裡也真的想著忙完就會做這件事**。 這時大家可能會想我又要講老掉牙的概念,像是「一直拖延下去就永遠不會做」之類的已經被重複幾百次的觀念,而大家心裡想的應該都是「我不是會一直拖下去的那個人,因為我是真的想做這件事,我之後忙完也一定會開始行動。」 我曾經也這麼想,甚至現在也是,所以我懂那種想法,這也是為什麼我今天想分享我親身的經歷,為什麼**就算你有開始行動的意志力與決心,忙完之後還是有可能不行動**,以及不現在行動的風險。所以可以做得到的話最好還是現在開始行動。最後我會分享一下怎麼養成好習慣,以及開始行動的方法。 ## 忙碌會掩蓋你的熱情 大家如果有看我之前發的文章,應該會看到我寫了一個幫助搭訕的人找戰友的網站。我還記得我剛開始寫這個網站的時候真的是熱情滿滿,心中想著「這可能會成為下一個facebook」,動力滿滿。那時後剛好是4天連假,我連續寫了4天的程式,**那四天內幾乎沒有耍廢**看youtube,也幾乎不會分心,**說是我人生中效率最高的幾天也不為過**。最後四天連假結束,我不得不回歸到不斷寫作業的學生生活,也就沒有時間繼續開發那個網站了。 事隔一陣子,寒假到了,我難得得到了一些空閒時間,看了一下我的to-do list(代辦事項),想起了我未完成的網站,因此我決定開始繼續開發這個網站。這次過程就沒這麼順利了。 離4天連假事隔數個月,我的熱情已經減去許多,我的工作效率遠不如4天連假的時候,花了一兩個星期,總算把基本的功能都拼湊出來,途中一度想放棄,因為還有很多重要的事情要忙。**不過我知道,我現在不完成,可能未來一兩年內都不會有把它完成的時間,最後這個網站可能永遠都不會上線**。最後我總算把成品草草上線了,雖然簡陋,或許也有不少bug,不過總算是完成了。 從這次經驗中,我就體會到,**要是把想做的事不斷延後,等到你真的有時間的時候,你的熱情可能早已消失**,這是我之前沒有考慮過的一個風險。 ## 永遠時間都不夠 人生中總是有忙不完的事情「我明天有個deadline,所以先不健身」「我最近課業有點重,所以先不開始我的youtube頻道」。大家應該都有過這樣的經歷吧。 我想請大家回想看看,你們有沒有過**明天要考試,明明該讀書,結果開始打掃數個月沒有打掃過的房間**的經驗?講得廣泛一點,就是**有個重要的事要做,結果卻開始做一件平常根本不會想做的不重要的事**。那麼你最後的考試結果怎麼樣?或許不理想,或許還不錯,不過結論就是**你現在還活得好好的**。 看到這邊有些人可能已經察覺了,就算你在怎麼忙,時間總是擠得出來。不會因為你打掃了房間,人生就爆炸。假設你今天很忙,沒有時間打掃房間,但我強迫你今天無論如何都要打掃房間,99%的機率你打掃完之後,明天還是活得好好的。 好好思考一下,你真的沒時間嗎?還是你只是**沒有給你的目標足夠的優先度**?好好衡量一下延後行動會給你帶來的風險,並重新思考一下,你現在不行動這個決定真的合理嗎? ## 養成好習慣的方法 最後我想分享兩個我覺得不錯的養成好習慣的技巧。 > 1. Start small, but now > 這個技巧講的就是把目標設小,但馬上開始。 舉個例子來說,你的目標是每天早上起來跑步30分鐘,但嘗試了1個月,沒有一天起得來。這時可以用這個方法,你把目標改成「我只要每天起來,把鞋子穿上,就回床上睡覺。」如果你這麼做,你會發現**當你穿上鞋子之後,就會自然而然的去跑步了**。 另一個例子就是健身,我自己是個很懶的人,剛來美國時,因為健身房要走一段距離,在忙碌的生活中,根本不會想花時間走到健身房開始健身。因此中間空了幾個月沒健身,最後,我買了裝在門框的單槓,並安裝了吊環。因為**有隨時可以開始健身的環境,我健身的習慣又重新開始了**。 我還有一個經驗就是leetcode刷題,一開始我總是設定一天至少要做5題題目,結果通常都是一兩天就破功了,最後一忙又變成完全不刷題。而我最近開始設定每天只要刷1題就好,結果我每次一刷就會刷至少2到3題。 這個技巧的重點就是把目標和難度降低,開始行動之後,就會累積慣性,最後自然而然就養成習慣了。 > Structure new habits into existing habits > 第二個技巧就是,把新的習慣融合到舊的習慣之中 比如說你很愛喝咖啡,你又想要養成讀書的習慣,或許你就可以每次煮咖啡時,要求自己等咖啡的幾分鐘時間要看書,等咖啡好了,就隨便做什麼都可以。當你開始這樣做,有很高的機率,當咖啡好了,你還是會繼續看書下去。 又比如說我想練習把妹的推拉技巧,但每次實戰都會想不出怎麼推拉,最後什麼都沒說。但我發現我很習慣冷讀並誇獎女生的特徵。這時就可以把任務設定成「我每次誇獎(拉)女生時,下一句就要推。」這時一瞬間推拉對我來說就變得非常簡單了,也因為有了提示而不會忘記做這件事,只要稍微變化一下就可以。 再比如說,我小時後常常會忘記帶東西出門,後來我就養成每次到門口,都會檢查口袋的習慣,經過數年的累積,我現在只要離開門口的瞬間感覺口袋空空,就會感覺奇怪,並摸一下確認,多虧這個習慣,我已經不記得我上一次忘記代錢包或是鑰匙出門是什麼時候了。 這個技巧的機制就是,用你的已經建立好的習慣來觸發你做另一件事。習慣難養成的其中一個原因就是容易忘記去執行,因此當有一個trigger(板機)時,就會更容易實行。 ## 結論 自我提昇的很大一部分,就是增加自己的工作效率,並增加自己達成目標的能力。希望這篇文章可以讓一些人開始為了目標做出行動。如果你有相關的經驗,歡迎留言分享。
