### Functional requirements
- Validate resident's identity using NFC to interact with identity card - passed
- Record/Capture for every passed/blocked guests - passed
- Generate report of checkin/checkout history - passed
- Add/delete/update/adjust resident's information - passed
- Check the check-in/check-out status of an ID card - passed
- Show basic resident's information for each check-in/check-out on LCD screen - passed

- [Allow admin/staff lock-down gate from afar/remotely when needed]? -advanced (illustrates by LED).
- [Has an alarm machanism in case of fire, censors]? - advanced (maybe OOS)

### Non-fucntional requirements
- Availabillity: Run 24/7 with minimal scheduled downtime (2 minutes per day) and preferably no unscheduled downtime - passed
- Usability: UI must also be easily operable - passed
- Performance: the system must return checkin/checkout status within 3 seconds - passed
- Persistently log historical readings for diagnostic purposes that keep tracks of the system’s status over at least 30 days. Support local data storage of up to 100MB as well as on database server - passed
- System is implemented by Web application - passed
