## Nearby Athen


### Sounion (1.5 - 2 hours by Car)
蘇尼恩岬（Cape Sounion）是阿提卡半島最南端的海角，距離拉夫里奧（Lavrio）鎮以南8公里，距雅典東南69.5公里。它是希臘東阿提卡州Lavreotiki市的一部分。蘇尼恩角（Cape Sounion）以其波塞冬神廟而聞名，它是雅典黃金時代的主要古蹟之一。它的遺骸棲息在岬角，三邊被愛琴海包圍。

### Corinth (1.5 - 2 hours by Car)
a city located about 80 km west of Athens. It was an important city-state in ancient Greece and is home to several well-preserved ruins, including the ancient theater, the Bema (where St. Paul preached), and the Roman Agora.

### Delphi (3 hours by Car)
an ancient sanctuary located about 180 km northwest of Athens. It was considered the center of the ancient world and was dedicated to the god Apollo. Visitors can see the well-preserved ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, and the Delphi Theater.

### Nafplio
a charming seaside town located about 150 km south-west of Athens. It is known for its well-preserved medieval castle, the Palamidi, and the Bourtzi, a small fortress located on an islet in the harbor. The town is also home to several museums, galleries, and shops.

### Meteora (10 hour train from Athen)
a complex of monasteries located about 250 km northwest of Athens. The monasteries are built on top of towering sandstone cliffs and offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it's considered one of the most essential Orthodox monastic centers in Greece.
