On duty crime is strictly prohibited and can result in termination depending on the severity of the incident.</li> <li>Off Duty Crime: Off duty crime shall be considered a staff member whois not currently working a shift or representing Friendly's in any way. Off duty crime is allowed within Friendly's as long as the staff member is NOT representing Friendly's in ANY way.</li> </ul></p> <h3> Section 2-Uniform Policy </h3> <ul> <li>Uniform Usage: Staff members shall not wear uniforms off duty or when not working inside of the building.</li> <li>Avatar: A staff member's avatar shall look appropriate when representing the business. <br> Packages- Allowed. <br> T-Shirts- NOT Allowed. <br> Hats/Pets/Accessories- Allowed aslong as the hat/pet/Accessory isn't covering any logos on the uniform. The employee's face should also be clearly visible to the customer (With the exception of glasses). </li> </ul> <h3> Section 3-Blacklist Policy </h3> <p> If a blacklisted customer is on business property staff members should take the following steps to remove the blacklisted customer from the property. <br> 1. If safe, approach the customer & politely ask them to leave the premessis. If the customer refuses to do so please move onto the next step. <br> 2. Contact law enforcement to remove the person from the property. <br> <br> There're NO exceptions to this policy. All staff members are required to take the apropriate steps to remove any blacklisted customers from the property. If the blacklisted customer wishes to be on property they can appeal the blacklist in our Discord Server (Found in the '<a href="https://hackmd.io/ezkzgUIfROSEtvOjSD2bCQ?view#Helpful-Links">Helpful Links Section</a>'). </p> <h3> Section 4-Administrative Leave Policy </h3> <p> While a staff member is under investigation they are to not represent Friendly's in ANY way. This includes but isn't limited to Wearing a Staff Uniform, Going Behind The Counter, And Claiming To Be a Staff Member. </p> <h3> Section 5-Promotion Policy </h3> <p> The "Promotion Policy" must be followed by ALL staff members unless a CoOwner+ approves an exemption. Exemptions may only be used once and should be properly documented in the "action-logs" channel found in the <a href="https://discord.com/invite/257JNVMsKg">Discord Server</a>. <ul> <li>Staff Members may only be promoted up by 1 rank per promotion.</li> <li>Staff Members may only get a promotion 1 time every 7 days.</li> <li>The Staff Member giving the promotion must be above the rank they are promoting the person to.</li> <li>Staff Members may only give a promotion to the same person 2 times per every 30 days.</li> <li>ALL promotions must be properly documented in the "action-logs" <a href="https://discord.com/invite/257JNVMsKg">Discord Server</a> channel.</li> </ul> </p> <h3> Section 6-Business Halt Policy </h3> <p> NO staff members are allowed to represent Friendly's in ANY way if the business is halted. The business will be immediatly considered "Halted" if one of the following criteria is met: <ul> <li>The business is placed under investigation by the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce.</li> <li>The business is halted by a Chief of Operations+</li> </ul> </p> <h3> Section 7-Hiring Policy </h3> <ul> <li>A applicant's application may not be read by one of their friends.</li> <li>If an application reader receives their friend's application they must immediatly contact their supervisor & may not continue reading it.</li> <li>Applicants may only be accepted if they meet ALL criteria listed on the application/in the message of applications opening.</li> <li>All people hired must remain in the following while employed: <br> 1. <a href="https://www.roblox.com/groups/7128493/City-of-Winnipeg-Manitoba#!/about">City of Winnipeg, Manitoba Roblox Group</a> <br> 2. <a href="https://www.roblox.com/groups/3454523/Friendlys-Restaurant#!/about">Friendly's Roblox Group</a> <br> 3. <a href="https://discord.com/invite/257JNVMsKg">Friendly's Discord Server</a> <br> </ul> <h3> Section 8-Staff Resources/Company Tools </h3> <p> Staff must use all resources provided to them by the company correctly. <br> <br> Resources may be considered all of the following: <ul> <li>Any tools provided to you by the company</li> <li>Company uniforms</li> <li>Company Hand to GUIs</li> <li>Company vehicles</li> <li>Anything else distributed to an employee by the company</li> </ul> </p> <p> Friendlys takes tool/resource abuse seriously. No warnings will be handed out if you're caught abusing tools/resources provided to you by the company. Misuse of tools/resources is punishable with up to a Termination. You MUST be utilizing tools/resources properly (As specified in Section 10-Staff Tools/Resources Uses) </p> <h3> Section 9-Filming & Social Media Policies </h3> <p> **Privilege to Publish is a privilege, not a right.** <br> <br> Although we allow our employees to post screenshots/photos/videos while on shift. Any recordings (Screenshots, videos, etc) taken/recorded when on shift at Friendly's must not violate any comany policies nor may they show any classified material/areas. <br> <br> Any recordings (Screenshots, videos, etc) that are taken/recorded when an employee is working/on duty at Friendlys may be removed upon request of the ownership team (Co-Owner+) at any time for any reason. Failure to abide by a request to remove a form of recording (Screenshots, videos, etc) can be punishable with up to a Termination depending on severity/punishment deemed appropriate by the ownership team. </p> <h3> Section 10-Staff Tools/Resources Uses </h3> <p> All staff are required to use the company resources/tools provided to them appropriatly in every situation. There are no exceptions to this policy and Terminations are possible if an employee is caught misusing company equipment. Below are the expectations for all provided equipment. </p> <p> **Hand to GUI** - The Hand to GUI is used to hand customers (who're standing IN FRONT OF YOU) their correct orders. <br> **Uniform** - The uniform provided to you from the company is for on duty use only. Wearing this off duty shall be considered abuse; no exceptions. </p> <h3> Section 11-Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce </h3> <p> All staff must follow the request of the chamber of commerce. The chamber of commerce has the right to audit the business, enter staff areas, etc. If a chamber member identifies themselves as a chamber of commerce member and gives you an instruction/asks you any questions you're required to comply. </p> <h3> Section 12-Emergency Services </h3> <p> Friendly's staff are strictly prohibited from blocking or interfering with Emergency Services. Friendly's employees are asked to comply with all requests from emergency service staff to ensure safety and security. Failure to comply with this policy is punishable with up to termination. </p> <h3> Section 13-On Duty Policy </h3> <p> When representing the company you're expected to be kind and professional to each and every customer. Be helpful. For example when a customer asks how to work at Friendly's tell them they have to apply using the application found in the Discord Server. <br> <br> Some additional policies for employees whilst on duty are listed below. Please make sure to follow all of these at all times. They're extremely important. <ul> <li>Team-When representing Friendly's you're expect to be on the civilian team. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this policy.</li> <li>Uniform-Always wear your uniform and follow the uniform policy (Section 2.)</li> <li>Firearms-Always abide by the firearms policy whilst on duty. (Section 14.)</li> </ul> </p> <h3> Section 14-Firearms on duty </h3> <p> Here at Friendly's we allow our staff to carry legal firearms whilst on duty. These firearms are for self defense only and should never be used for any other purpose. Along with this, make sure to always carry any needed permits/certifications with you needed to carry your firearm. You're required to show them upon request of a law enforcement officer. </p>
