Data Types
----------
Two types of data shapes (a) *Rheology test data*, (b) *Geometrical analysis data for intrusion shapes*.
(a) *Rheological test data*:
We use two new materials as crustal analog i) Ultrasound Transmission Gel, ii) Gel Wax. and one material i.e., Hair Oil as magma analog.
All the materials were taken to laboratory and test for their rheology in a Rheometer (Anton Paar Model# M302e). The data generated from the rheometer were processed in MATLAB. The original RAW datasets for the three materials are included.
(b) *Geometrical analysis*
To identify the geometry of the intruded magma inside a host quantitavely and eventually infer the intrusion mechanisms from the shapes of the intruded magma we analyse the shapes in terms of Fractal Dimension (box-counting method), Aspect Ratio and Skewness-Kurtosis. The raw data and the used matlab scripts for calculation of the values are attached with the dataset.
To work with the provided data sets one can directly use the .csv files to plot or analyse. The shape patterns, generated from the intrution boundary detection using MATLAB, were also attached. One can analyse those figures according to the procedure provided in supplementary documents. For details of analysis please go through the detail supplementary Supplemetary_documents.docx.
Aspect Ratio (*α*)= Amplitude of the wave(H)/Half wavelength (L)
Sample x,y data was attached which was extracted from the intrusion interface shape treating the as a crusve in *X-Y* space.
