Data ring session outline

B. Expected outcomes

  1. Notes on discussion about scope and mission of this ring.
  2. Agreement on code of conduct for the ring
  3. An airing of, recording of and possible prioritization of pressing issues related to (a) on-chain data, and (b) off-chain data
  4. Introduction of ring members to each other

C. Expected outputs

  1. Agreement on formation of a ring
  2. Schedule to define and agree on scope and mission for the ring

D. Timeline

Duration Segment Description
10 mins Opening Facilitator briefly introduces the outline of the session with emphasis on expected outomes and outputs. Rules of participation and conduct will be set.
10 mins Introductions Each participant introduces themselves, their project, and notes their own most pressing data-related issues. Facilitator will document concerns on white board.
5 mins Sorting Coalate, sort, eliminate duplicates of issues. Come up with preliminary list of issues to disscuss in breakout.
20 mins Issue Breakout Given preliminary list of issues, break out into small (3-5 person) groups to further define the issues.
10 mins Recap Each small group gives a short presentation of their work furthing defining their issue.
10 mins Conclusion Agree on further work to be done.
